Ok everyone so here is my take on this:

1) I agree with Shyamala who has been writing excellent posts...ARVI is ultimately going to happen.

I know a lot of people have been bashing Arjun but keep in mind sthat he was taken by complete surprise in front of everyone. It also looked to me like while he was looking at Purvi somebody literally lifted his hand and Ovi stuck the ring on. I noticed throughout the entire segment he looked extremely shocked and unhappy. He didn't get a chance.

2) The engagement may have happened but the marriage will not. Yes it will be tough few weeks for Purvi as well as for all of us. But ARVI is the track just like Archu/Manav. Ultimately they also did not end up going through with marriages to others,

Also, even though Purvi is upset she will have to stay strong as Arjun had to when he watched her with Vinay. Even though there were no confessions he had to watch and couldn't do anything about it.

I think Ovi will find out and unfortunately she will end up turning into a negative character. I still have hopes for Teju though. For some reason I get the inkling that she is going to play some part in our favor. Ive watched her in the last episode and the way she was talking she definitely was not at all convinced about Arjun's feelings for Ovi.

I think when Archu comes to know she will stand with Purvi. That's the funny thing with twins and a different story track too that will be very interesting, Teju is so sweet, humble, adventurous and endearing while Ovi looks down her nose at the language, idea of staying in crawl,wears skimpy clothes, etc. Archu already was shocked at her pics, inability to wear sari, and if she maintains this attitude Archu will find it tough to relate to this daughter of hers.

Arjun will do something...I am pretty sure of it...but u have to see from his shoes...it was a total and complete shock of unexpected proportions. Also keep in mind Purvi's dignity...he cannot expose her in a public setting like that in that moment...u guys have to realize that it would have actually been very damaging for her given the circumstances of everything.

I have the same views.. It is Arjun and Purvi's story.. .. and he cannot create a scene..and put Purvi under scanner..

and the way he was looking at Purvi with so much of sadness and pain.. aww poor boy.. my heart went out to him...it was so unexpected and shocking turn of events for Arjun...

but i am sure when the party is over.. Arjun will talk about his love..Purvi..

isn't this expected ... all love stories will go through this phase and the tougher times makes them more stronger from within . their trust and their love will outshine with such tests..

Just as gold shines more when it goes through fire.. Arjun and Purvi's love will outshine with these tough phases . their love and their relation will be more stronger...

Am i hoping too much... i guess a girl can hope.. can't she😃

Archana, insightful post but could he not have refused to put the ring on Ovi's finger without exposing who he was in love with? He fell in my estimation but I guess we have to remember he is no suave 26 or 27 year old yet, he is a mere boy of 20 😕

Thanks munni...I just think that with Purvi all worried about her reputation and her parents there as well as whole family and such a public setting it would be hard for Arjun to make a public scene without really damaging things for her and putting her under everyone's eye. He was taken by total surprise so it happened but I have a feeling he will break it. He had been trying to break it from the moment he realized his feelings or Purvi.

Just like his confession: moka Nahi mila so he had to resort to drastic measures to get to Purvi. I think we will see th same thing. He will try several times after engagement to tell Ovi but will end up with some misses. Ultimately he will tell her he is in love with someone else, she will find out it is Purvi, and Manav/Archana misunderstanding will escalate.

Someone, I think it was Darleyne said we fans can also do something about it by posting on PV Facebook and SBS site. I can tell u I certainly am going to and u guys should do the same. Ekta may be Ekta but the TRPs are everything at the end of the day and if she realizes ARVI separation is causing such an enormous fan backlash she may rectify things sooner.

So everyone bombard SBS and Pavitra Rishta site!!!! 😉

I love your post and would love to be optimistic too because I too love ARVI

but in the segment.. Arjun looks like a helpless participant.. which he definitely is not.. he's always been strong.. why did he all of a sudden turn so weak..??

and Purvi looks like she has steeled herself already.. she was quick and sharp to steel herself.. good for her..😭

Trish, that is what I don't get, why does he look so helpless? I have a feeling Purvi told him to go ahead that's why she looks all composed. Silly Purvi if she is resorting to her mother's thyaag attitude. Super model has better chances of landing a great husband than chawlwalli Purvi so Purvi should accept Arjun's love and move on. 😡 Ovi will win over a Romil or Rohit or some tycoon other than Arjun. She will get over her crush and move on to the next toy in the window, she is rich, pretty, insipid so far but sweet, and should have no trouble finding a guy who falls for her head over heels.

Yes, Jhanvi, I think Purvi gave up on Arjun and asked him to go ahead with the engagment. She told him to get engagedt. i think Purvi will say something to him like " you lied to me, I don't love you, or please do the engagment, because you promised Ovi.. " which will make him go ahead with the engagement.. because Arjun is a fighter, not a helpless bloke as they are showing him to be..

Purvi doesn't look like she's gonna melt this time..at all..

Arjun has created this mess for himself by not being strong.. and showing his weakness by acquiescing to putting the ring on Ovi's finger..

well, we have to bear all this..

- Most of the time.. the SBS segments do not give the full picture.. we are not sure of the circumsatnces in the party which forced Arjun to slide the ring ...so let's wait until the episode is aired ..

I am pretty much sure.. that he does not want to hurt or barge Purvi's name among all the guests

Once he is among family he will make sure of his stance.. and we have pretty much sane, reasonable and fair people around Arjun who will understand his stand...

After Arjun says about his love.. I don't think Manav or DK would be adamant in getting him married to Ovi.. they will understand him... no one can cause real trouble.. unless Savita, Sachu and Ovi..

but again that will be passing phase.. at the end it is Arjun and Purvi who are going to be together.. of course lots and lots of hurdles😕 but i am sure they will tide over

I am just worried about Purvi's sacrificial mode.. which is so inherent in her character.. 😕 but Arjun will work around it.,,😳

I think so too Munni...after all that Zee has done too to promote the ARVI track (dancing on other people's shows...probably wind up dancing together at any awards functions...etc), I dont think it will go so far as marriage to anyone else.

I do think we need to see what happened with Arjun...and how it went down...and the end of the way you are right. We are all speculating. We dont know the series of events that made him stand there in the first place or how it happened.

I dont think he is the type to go ahead and marry Ovi...but I think it is Purvi's sacrificial thing that will actually be the hurdle here...not Arjun's weakness. She will not want anyone to know and will try to sacrifice her love...however, we also know that Ovi will find out.

Another thing I was thinking about you guys...what if Ovi comes up with something to blackmail Arjun and Purvi? That would be an interesting track as well. For Purvi she will make it clear that she has to back off or Ovi will not give Archana a chance so for Archana's sake Purvi will.

And for Arjun...something along the lines of..."ok I know you dont love me and you love Purvi. But if you break the engagement with me, I will make sure that my mom and dad (Archana/Manav) will never get back together." And Arjun knows that is the thing Purvi wants above all else and what she keeps repeatedly asking for. He also knows Purvi...she would blame him if her parents wind up divorcing after all because of their misunderstanding.

I am also hoping that as Soham is confirmed to be the reverse of Sachin...and unite Archana/Manav...I am hoping he will do the same for Purvi/Arjun. Maybe Soham will enter, wind up becoming friends/business partners with Arjun and learn about Purvi...Soham will not be marrying Purvi. Just like Purvi was told to call Sachin Dada...Soham is her brother as well...there cant be any romance track there.

And who knows...maybe at the end of the day Ovi will do the right thing as Shravani did. She will realize there is no happiness to forcing someone to marry you when they dont love you. Remember yes Shravani was terrible but it was Shravani who told Manav to go get Archana and she released him on their wedding day...😊

i've been noticing lots of hatred posts for arjun , i mean v shouldnt think negatively all the time, v all know arjun loves purvi, its not tht he betrayed her , circumstances must hav forced him to get engaged, coz c if he does not get engaged to ovii at tht moment then everyone might question him abt it...n at tht moment purvi might get exposed, this is the time arjun will prove hez love again for purvi,he will obviouslyy not marry ovii , n find a chance to talk to hez dad wen situations will calm down...😳
