This is just an idea that came to mind while I was reading the posts on this forum.

Purvi stood outside his office.She had been so firm about leaving the company after the notice period that her mind went crazy with thoughts like 'Will he let me stay on the job?'.She tentatively knocked then as she heard his well-known "Come in" she slowly opened the door.
He was surprised to see her there.He hadn't recalled calling her to his office then why was she here.She quietly said "Arjun sir" as though contemplating how to word what she was about to say.Then she repeated those 2 words but her tone was firmer as though she had come to a decision.
"Main yeh office chod ke nahi jaana chahti hoon."She had said it now everything was upto him."Par tum toh keh rahi thi ki tum notice period ke baad jaana chahti ho...Toh main tumhe job pe kyun rakhoon.Aur waise bhi tumhari shaadi bahot jaldi hone wali hai.Am I right?"
"Sir shaadi hone wali thi ab nahi ho rahi hai."She put a special emphasis on the word 'thi' showing him that she wasn't getting married.She didn't want to go into the details of her ugly breakup with Vinay but clearly Arjun did because he was now leaning forward in anticipation.He tried to become an image of nonchalance but was clearly failing as she could quite easily read his eagerness...Or maybe that was just her.
"Vinay ne hum dono ko hospital mein dekhliya aur tab punni ward mein thi toh usne galat samajhliya.Maine usse samjhane ki koshish ki par usse shak karna tha aur main chahti hoon mera pati mujhpe vishwas karein issiliye maine rishta tod diya.Agar woh mujhpe vishwas nahi karsakta toh woh mujhe deserve nahi karta hai."She had started her story on an exasperated note then it turned into a rant and finished up rather firmly.
It was a while before he could respond but when he did he said "Tum job continue karsakti ho."
She walked out with a spring in her step and when she was gone a rather silly smile spread across his face.It was rather silly but she wasn't getting married anymore.Wait why was he so happy...
Let's leave him thinking shall we.Anyways this has turned absolutely terrible.Somehow the ideas in my head always manage to get jumbled when they are put on paper.Hope it was ok
