With a strong woman's instinct, she is the caretaker of the family and also the black sheep, till she decides to get married. "Priya is a refreshing change from all the female leads, as her life doesn't revolve around dreams of getting married," says Gautam Hegde, screenwriter of Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on Star One.
