I don't think manav's character has ever been butchered as badly as it is now .He is supposed to be the business man of the year and look at him , the most confused person ...all he knows is to say I hate Archana and throw abuses at her and when it comes to giving her up ...he starts having second thoughts ...

He only listens to a select peopel who talk against Archana ...like his mother ( oh she can say anythign and he will never disturb her and also this dodgy lawyer / son ...

But if anyone else says something for Archana ( DK , damodar or even Archana trying to give answer to his questions ) he shuts them up there and then .

and about your question regarding ekta...i seriously think she has a great business acumen and good skills as far as getting things done...but she doesn't have her priorities up straight...she has a dogmatic attitude towards people and life...it's not her best interests,as soon as she realizes the better for her...and i think a psychiatrist is needed for that😳
