it was mid 2007 popular actor cezanne khan decide to leave kasuti zindagi ki.he was playing the male lead charecter anurag basu in kasuti.he left the show for the upcoming 25 years leap in kasuti.cezanne khan left the show and after that 25 years leap happen.after the 25 year leap hiten tezwani replace cezanne khan as anurag basu and starts to play a 60years old male charecter.ekta thought since hiten is popular as karan in kynki.he would easily replace him.but it was a big blunder.people does not like that replacement.in 2007 ekta showes was continuing to rule.no show of other channel does not get even half trp in compare to ekta show.when cezanne khan left kasuti was in number 3 position with a trp of 8.2.but people reject both leap and replacement.it was unthinkable this popular show will end.but trp starts falling in rapid speed.after 6 months balaji forced to end kasuti.which once gave them trp of 8.2.within 6 months trp comes 1.9 from 8.2.even other lead actor sherwta tewari and ronit roy could not save the show.the show end in early 2008.that time balaji's other two show kynki and kahani was still ruling trp chart.kasuti end with lowest trp of 1.4 in its last episode at 8.30pm prime time.that time colours does not establish.sony was minor.zee tv also does not have any good show at 8.30pm that time.ekta's ruling was continuing in tv world.kasuti does not had any compition .but it still fail.the leap and replacement was the reason of the end of kasuti.kasuti's end was the begining of the end of ekta's superpower in tv industry.

after four years in 2011 our pr male lead sushant decides to leave pr before 18 years leap.so ekta again repated the same thing what she did in 2007.in starts of pr manav age was 29.before the four year leap manav tell archana in letter that 4 years has been passed since they first married.so that time manav age was 33.after four year leap manav age is 37.after 18 years leap manav age will be 55.so hiten will now play 55years old male role.i find the situation is very much similar to kasuti.the outcome of repleacement and leap in kasuti was horrible and a big flop.
