I think that the reason why Aashna told Manav to apologise to Archana at the party, in front of everybody, is because Archana was belittled by Dharmesh at the party in front of all the guests and Manav didn't support her at all. He walked out on her, leaving her to face the humiliation on her own.

By apologising to Archana in front of the guests at the anniversary party, I think Aashna believes Manav can make up for his wrong behaviour at the previous party. What Aashna wants Manav to apologise for is his behaviour at the party, NOT what he said to Archana outside. NOT how he spoke to her outside.

Manav just has a problem with his temper ..Always has had this issue but if you would really think about it his intentions were always good ...
