Hi Kools,
I see that like me, you are visiting here early before the housework and other duties for the day, begins.
I read your above post re Archana's situation about Soham. I am a strong fan of Manav and Archana, but never support when they make wrong decisions or take wrong actions. Even from the Shravani era when Arman took the decision to divorce, going against the advice of both families, I was so mad at them. Imagine your families have given you a way out, with their support, and yet you went ahead with a non-sensical plan (which we all know they couldn't stick to). Shravani got into that situation all by herself (with Sachin's help, ofcourse), so she should've been prepared to face all of the consequences. Arman did not have to sacrifice anything for her.
In the same way with Varsha, no one put Varsha in this situation, but herself. She had the abortion for VERY selfish reasons (career), not even informing/discussing this very serious and non- reversable decision with the father (Satish). Manav tried his best to get Archana to accept that she was not responsible for Varsha not being able to adopt in the first instance. This she was not able to accept, and appears is still not accepting.
Even though Arman weren't responsible for Varsha's inability to conceive or to adopt, Archana still persisted in trying to help her by returning to the orphanage to plead her case. They were successful, but once again, selfish Varsha refused to adopt because the child she wanted, was unavailable. Varsha has consistently shown how childish and selfish she is. It's her way or the highway. Most certainly NOT motherly material.
Everyone has such strong views re Archana and Soham's situation. Even re Manav's role in it. We all should remember that we don't have all the facts, therefore should not be so quick to judge so harshy. I'm definitely not in support of Archana giving Soham to anyone, for any reason. However, one should realise that at times, we, mere mortal beings, do things that appear to the average person as totally unacceptable, but when fully investigated we can understand why that person did what they did. We may not agree, but we may understand.
We all know the cvs have destroyed PR, the characters, and the storylines since the leap. We therefore have to keep this in mind when discussing issues related to the show and the characters.
In terms of Archana and Soham, as I've said in another thread, her character (and this storyline) can be saved by showing Varsha as being overly attached to Soham from birth, taking him with her at the first opportunity and claiming him as her son, and refusing to return him to his parents when they realised what happened and had gone to get him back. The cvs can show Varsha as having a mental breakdon then, refusing professional help at that time, and Archana, having "cured" Savita from her depression, believes she can do the same for Varsha.
However, as so much time has passed without any success, Archana must be made to realise (by Manav), that she has had more than enough time to try things her way, it has not worked, and therefore she must accept what he, Manav thinks should be done now. Ofcourse, Savita will support Manav fully. Satish will at this time be able to convince Varsha to accept professional help, and Soham will be with his biological family, whom I assure you, love him dearly.
People show emotions in different ways...love, grief, anger, etc. I know Archana loves Soham. Going by my theory, no one wants to see a loved one (in this case a sister), become mentally unstable. Archana, therefore, would have left Soham with Varsha initially, so as not to have her fall into a deep depression. She would have believed she can help her. As time passed, realising she wasn't being successful and seeing Varsha's unstable reactions to Archana being near Soham, Archana probably got scared for Varsha's mental state. Archana probably was even more scared re Varsha's reaction to Arman taking Soham back. In this case, she should have sought professional help for Varsha, because she obviously cannot "cure" Varsaha (as she did with Savita), and it would not be good for Soham to be left in the situation he is currently in.
I hope the cvs do something NOW, before it is all too late. They need to involve Savita even more now, as they started to do in the last episode. Soham is such a cute child. He suits Arman more than any other jodi on the show. In addition, Zee TV released that beautiful photo of Arman with Soham, allowing us, the fans, to believe that they were a family. They have now realised that there is NO support for a baby donation/sharing track, therefore the powers that be HAVE to rectify their HUGE mistake and give us what they had indicated...Arman and Soham as a family!!!!
