Kool is right .Manav doesn't care abouit Soham at all..He did so much for Sachu ...whatever lovehe has it is only for Sachu .For his own son he feels nothing ...
Archana too doesn't loves him as much as she loves sachu or Manav...that is why she gave him up so easily...
Soham is not wanted in the Deshmukh House .Before he was born Savita was worried and would keep asking that if Sachu would become less important ...
Archana always answered ' I will love Sachu more than my own child ' ...that means even before he was born , Soham was relegated to a back seat to Sachu ...
Savita perhaps cares more about her doggie Damu than she cares for Soham ...
Tanya , I differ here slightly . Manav's reactions are equally same for ALL . I am not saying they are RIGHT ...but yes they are the SAME . He provided help to Shravani to bring Sachu in the world , but Sachu was majorly looked after by Shravani and Savita for one year . At that point Manav was not living seperate so he sometimes took the baby out , bas . Infact Shravani had suggested it a lot but he had told her NO , U GO to the bigger flat . As I see it he says fIRMLY NO to Shravani .
The moment he remarried and stayed seperate I saw ZERO INTEREST in Sachu . He hardly came to see him , enquire about him , bring him small presents ...NOTHING . Hell , he did not even give his own parents MONEY for the House expenses . All money he gave to Archana and bore the expenses of her overgrown sister who was plonked in his house due to Archana . Later when he shifted he did not even give ADDRESS . Manav was defo more towards Karanjkars than his dead brother's child . We Story followers were enraged with him then .
Today too nothing much has changed . He is more engrossed in his job . He does not have the time to bother about the HOUSE ...its not just Sachu . Its his mom , Dad , Archana , ALL .
I DISAGREE with the statement that he cares for SACHU more than Soham . I AGREE with the statement that he cares for ARCHANA MORE THAN SOHAM .Coz it was Archana's plan to give baby up to her sister and Manav has gone along with it like a weak man influenced by his lady love . He said FIRM NOs to Shravani but he NEVER say firm NOs to Archana and complies with ALL her wishes . I criticise Manav for THAT . Just the way he refused to go to big Flat when Shrav insisted , he shud have refused when Archana suggested baby shud be given to Varsha . Archana had ALWAYS intended that . Even her miscarried baby ...the first one ...She had wanted to give it away .
Had Soham been raised in D house , Manav would have loved Sachu and Soham equally . Archana would have loved sachu MORE than Soham to be mahaan again . She TOLD Savita that .
Savita's worry was very legitimate . Archana is NOT Sachu's real mom , and she had seen the change in ARMAN post remarraige . How they had not bothered even a little bit for Sachu but had been immersed in romance and Karanjkars . Now toh Archana was carrying her own child .So she asked her whether she would treat Sachu like her own child once her own was born . THATS ALL . I did NOT see a single episode where she requested Archana to love Sachu MORE than HER baby . Savita was pretty decent to even Punni Ruchi although she was hostile with the Karanjkars at one time . Her behaviour to kids is pretty decent and fair . I see no reason to assume that she would love one grandkid MORE than the other . I dunno WHY u keep saying that ...it puzzles me .I see u saying it MANY times .
Voicing out concern for ONE grandchild does not mean you love other grandchild less . And if Manav has buckled under Archanas tears and agreed to giving Soham away WHAT can she do ? She is scared to go against manav and lose him again .Package deal , remember ? All had been so happy when Manav had given her the message that he and Archana were a PACKAGE ? Well it has registered firmly in the old lady's brain .
Damodar loves All children equally too . So wud Vandu love both her brothers children . I see no reason for making statements like Soham was never wanted in Deshmukh house etc .
Why Sachu has not been given away to make someone happy is coz Sachin is dead and Sachu is not fully in ARMAN's control . The invisible Shravani is there , Savita 's rights to speak in ARMAN's matters have been taken away by Manav but she CAN speak in dead Sachins matter . Otherwise this DUO ...Mahaan Devi Archana and her joru Ka gulam husband Manav wud have done even THAT to bring MUSKURAHAT on someone's face .
