The Character I loved went into grave - became Annoying :( :(
The character I loved went into Grave or should I say its digging its own grave. I think it was the most butchered character in PR. It is ,I think you would know by now,Yes,It is ARCHANA.
The dutiful daughter and a loving girl in the beginning of the show,the innocent shy girl who with her strong will to repay for her family's wrong doings(manjusha's) by entering her sasural and win my heart ,started loving her pati so much was just reduced to a girl mad in love with her man and Blind in love with her Maayka.
The way this girl impressed me at the beginning with her doings and attitude made me forget her small small wrong things she did so far. I know she was insensible at times,dumb at times, still I loved her and I was giving her the credit that some day she would definitely change.
But none happened. She is being reduced too low. That too post leap,couldn't say how annoying she has became.
The first blow is that, archu forgiving her ungrateful sister and Vahini who is responsible for her child's death and for the misery she has gone through(when her pati was missing).
How could she do that. How can she talk with them as if nothing happened.That too with Varsha like that. I wish archu to be in her pati side at that issue.I wished to see the mom's anger in it. But Nope.
Then the second blow was that archu involving in mathuri-vaishu's issue and asking mathuri to say that in court. why she has to get involved in that. why should she come inbetween them. why was she shown as a heartless woman with the heart thinking about only her sister's well being. The archu who impressed me in the beginning wasn't a girl like that. Vaishu-Mathuri alone could have been shown in sorting the issue.Nope archu as to come inbetween to spoil her character.
And Then the final blow and the last nail on the coffin was the issue after post Leap. she Giving her child to her ungrateful spoilt sister Varsha😡.How could this be. How can she do that. Its a Child and not a property to swap. And that too giving their precious child to that inhuman varsha who killed their first child😡.That was a severe blow.The person from whom archu as to maintain a distance for her period of life, she is having relationship continued and height of it giving her baby.Ufff...
Though I do wish to hope that kid was not ARMAN's, the promo and the promotion picture doesn't say so. And that Mano baba missing for 3 years,which means 1 year gap was there which would have been sufficient for ARMAN's child and does his run away as something to do with it. If archu giving the child was true, then she will be the most annoying character so far.
I wasn't blaming her for fighting with manav on her fast issue,Its quite possible with her pagalpan and it might be natural case also(even in my house it happens- though we know they work for us,sometimes waiting for a so long time and feeling not given a priority,it ends there). so where I find fault with her is, this wasn't the one that archana would do. she was shown as the girl with so much love for her pati, then why cant she be shown as a supportive one.
why she was a girl only mad in love with her husband ,who wants him by her side always, nevertheless however they are and shown as a girl who doesn't care about his humiliation he got from her Maayka people. why not once ,she is not shown as girl who stand up for his izzat in front of her family. why is she shown as a girl blind in love with her Maayka people that too with her spoilt sisters.
wish her to be away from her Maayka people,especially the sisters who treat her like use and throw and then the vahini who always tries to spoil hers. why cant she show the same attitude that Manav shows to his child killers.
So with Zee's New logo, saying about Umeed, I do have a little hope that my favorite character 'archu' would be resurrected , do have a change in attitude and Cv's come up with a track where neither archu nor Manav as given their child to varsha.
