Nikitagmc...Back at you. I felt the same way after reading your post. Thanks so much for your kind words. You made me feel so special.

Honestly I don't know what to say now, I've come late to this thread and all of you have said everything. But keeping in mind my love for endless blabbering and long posts, I'm sure this one is going to end up being a long one too. 😆

So where do I start from?

Aaah Sushant's performance- loved it to bits! I loved the way they introduced him, and the way his performance started. He was in perfect sync with his background dancers. The dance was energetic, his expressions were perfect, the song was perfect, the whole ambience they tried to create was perfect. I was sooo glad to see Remo whistling for him, and Remo and Geeta Maa giving him a standing ovation later. Maybe that was Remo's way of saying- "This is it!" 😆 Everyone seemed to be enjoying so much while Sushant was dancing- especially Ajit and Mano Baba (there's something about him that I really like, on screen and off it. He comes across as a nice, fun loving chap.)

My sentiments exactly, Nikitagmc. He always enjoys himself on the off screen segments, e.g. SBS/SBB etc. Even Ankita was seen on one of these segments, playing around with his "hair". She looked so sweet doing it, and Manohar was a good sport about it.

The only problem I had with the dance was that considering it was a dance for Ganpati Bappa- it should have been done in the beginning of the show, or at least the beginning of the sequence. Silly Zee!

Ankita was so graceful- I didn't like the frills on her dress, but her dance in itself was nice. The performance was too short :-( but whatever little I saw I liked it a lot. I felt it was a Can- Can form of dance, (which Mahi had done quite weirdly in JDJ), I'm not sure though. I hope we could have seen Anki for a longer time. :-I Ah well, there's the Gold Awards function to look forward to, in which she will be performing dressed up like an Apsara. 😍

The hosting segment was very cute. Sushant Ankita ne aate hi hansa diya sabko. I liked their camarederie. It looked so natural. Anki was looking gorgeous in that sari...

Finally- the best part of the evening- the countdown by Sushant:

Hands down it was the best thing for me! Loved it totally! He looked dressed to kill- he reminded me of Shahrukh Khan in the title track of DON. He oozed such confidence, charm, style and just the right amount of softness where requuired. I loved how his expressions changed as he introduced each couple/person- depending on the mood, he was passionate around Archana,

I felt the same way too. For a very long time now, I've noticed many similarities between Sushant and Shah Rukh Khan. Probably that's why I was drawn to Sushant as an actor from the very beginning of PR.

mischievous when he interrupted Radhika Dev, and full on stylish when he introduced those two people (don't know their names- music was Ajay Devgan's music from OUATIM)

But the best part was with the little girl Ira- completely loved both of them. The girl was so cute and he also looked so sweet bending down next to her, taking her tiny hand (with such a genuine, adorable smile) when she offered it and then walking with her.

That's what really moved me. Sushant interacted with her as a real father would. He seems so natural in the role of a father. He has such a gentle way about him. He's also very gentle with Ankita. This is another similarity between Sushant and SRK. SRK is also very gentle with children and ladies. They are "Gentlemen", something not seen much in the world of "stars" today.

I noticed that he was so tall and she was so tiny that he was slightly bending on one side to hold her hand (check the avi in my signature dabba). It looked so sweet and I was all aww... I felt very angry on Ekta for depriving us of something like this by giving us the MC track and baby donation track- Manav would have looked so cute with his little daughter. Aww...

Couldn't agree with you more Nikitagmc. Can you imagine him with his daughter? Daughters usually have their fathers wrapped around their little fingers anyway. When ZEE TV released the photo of Manav, Archana, and Soham, I was eagerly awaiting scenes with Arman and their kid, especially scenes with Manav and his son, only to be tremendoulsy disappointed by Ekta!!!! I hope this situation is rectified very soon!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say, Sushant completely STOLE the show. In the function he was unceremoniously, without any words, declared the biggest star of Zee⭐️- after all, he launched the Zee logo, something only BW stars do most of the time. And he IS a superstar-

after all, isn't he the guy who had Rs. 200 crores riding on him during JDJ? 😎 Had never expected Zee to come open with something like this so openly. LOVED LOVED LOVED it all!

Am still to watch some part of the show though- I have been told the DID performance was rocking!
