Manav and Archana are husband and wife, they've taken sacred vows to protect and honor and respect each other and they are there for each other, mostly. It is the duty of a spouse to stand by and protect their partner's honor in front of the world. In private however their relation maybe. Savita and Damodar have also been married for several years now, and Savita has bitchily, complainingly, foul-mouthedly served Damodar and took care of him in health and sickness. What has Damodar done for Savita, ever? Is there any one instance where he has supported his wife over others? Took her side? She may be the most evil person on the planet, but she cared for him right? What did he do for her, not for Manav, not Archana, not sachin, not Vandu, not anyone else. What did Damodar do for Savita? What is his role as a husband, and what has he done in that role, to fulfil his responsibilities towards the role of a husband? I really am curious to know.

Edit: This is not related to ARMAN or anyone else in any way. Just what Damodar is to Savita.

Well said Sowmya !!! Even I have been asking the same thing..What has Damo done in his pathetic life so far apart from Chanting mantras of his holy Bahu.Its good to see him support him Bahu but where are his moral responsibilities towards his wife..What has he done for her..Its coz of him Savita is like this...He has never fulfilled her desire nor cared to ,it was Savita who raised her 3 children all on her own..Any women would have desire this guy never cared or bothered to fulfill any of her desires..Its coz of this drunkard Manav could not study and had to work from young age to support his family...Has this thought ever occured to Damo..He keeps blaming Savita..IF not for Savita he would have been thrown out long time back n none of their children would have been raised properly.....CV's have shown Damo character to be someone who just does nothing n keeps blaming his wife for everything without giving a damn about her n blindly keep supporting his holy Bahu n keep degrading Savita in front of her and keep chanting the holy Archu mantra....Manav can do that coz Archu is his wife but Damo he is such a disgrace..CV's have totally degraded him as they have degraded Manav..

I think one of the reasons why savita behaves the way she does is because her relationship with her husband was never very good .

I feel both angry and sorry towards Savita in many ways ..

Sorry because she had to put up with a husband who was an alocholic and of course losing a son she loved so much at such a young age ..

Angry at her because of the way she is with Manav and also Archana but mainly Manav ...

I am happy with damodar today because of two things , he made money and because he encouraged his son and his DIL, he is always nice to his DIL so it was good to see him praise his son and make him happy ..

Despite of his good ups , I really really like Manav as a son ...and it was good to see him getting some encouragement from at least one of his parents .

I would however say that Damodar should take better care of Savita as she is not well.Even I don't like it when he ignores her and is not taking good care of her .She took good care of him when he was recovering from his alcoholism ...She is the reason he was cured , not Manav or Archana ......

Actually, Tanya for some reason i can't vote. Probably something to do with how my account is setup or something. I dont feel like many days anyway, so it's okay. I'm not really here to change the balance of votes or anything. Just was really curious. Tanya, a husband-wife relation is separate from parent-children relation. Obviously they overlap, but they are still separate relations and we should be able to distinguish between them. That's why I said forget about ARMAN or any of the other adults/children in the show. Savita-Damodar have a marital relation, a life-partnership. Or do they? I cant applaud a person who doesn't respect his wife. Seriously. It's not just now--I think it's always been that way. Just like manav should support Archana and make sure she's happy, Damodar has the very basic duty to support his wife. His son is grown up now and married and has his own tiny family comprising of him and his wife. ARMAN are a separate entity from Manav-Savita or Manav-Damodar right? Spouses have the right to punish and demand explanations when they fulfill their responsibilities. What has Damodar done for Savita? Thanks for the welcome btw😊

LOL I wont. But that's all he did, and it's more a burden than a gift when the husband doesn't share the responsibility of raising the children. That's why Manav had to work when he was a kid, wasn't it? mating even animals do, and they do a very good job of raising their offspring as well. I'm sorry, i really have no respect for a person who doesn't respect his wife, however good a father/FIL/general human being he may be.

Perfect words sowmya being male I cant such kind of crap from a guy towards his wife...I mean for so many years Savita has taken care of this drunkard and this guy not for once has done anything except for making her pregnant 3 times...I am sorry to say this but it seems he has used her like a child bearing machine which is pathetic...I cannot for once consider Damo to be someone good n positive even though he is good wit his Bahu n son..IF a person has no respect towards his wife n gives a damn about her even in her sickness n has not done anything for the welfare of the family and has not bothered to fulfill or even tired to fulfill his wife wishes n has been a real pain in the butt for many years wby being a drunkard and coz of him Manav had to work to support his family at that early age, I am sorry I cant respect such a person..I say this it feels even more pathetic as I being a male see this happening and is done by a male without having feel any remorse...I cannot digest this for once I am sorry 😡

Jaishankar, I'm not even talking about buying jewels and stuff. Obviously, every girl likes that. But here I'm talking about basic emotions---defending your wife when somebody talks crap about her, taking her side atleast sometimes even if she's wrong (she's not wrong all the time), believing her and listening to her once in a while, just being nice. None of these require money, just some consideration for the woman he married.
