TOI: Ankita rescues Usha!

Rumour has it that the saas-bahu clash on Pavitra Rishta has an element of reality to it as Usha Nadkarni and her on-screen bahu Ankita Lokhande envy each other.

But seems like Ankita has had a change of heart. The actress rushed to help the veteran who accidentally burned her finger while shooting for a sequence where the sanskaari bahu had to push Usha into the kitchen that had to go up in flames. After the kitchen was set partially ablaze, sensing the sudden heat, Usha panicked and darted to a corner for safety. Unfortunately, her saree caught fire and the poor lady freaked out! In a bid to put out the flames, she ended up burning her fingers. Since, Ankita was closest to the door, she rushed to Usha's rescue. She helped extinguish the flames and calmed Usha down and applied a soothing ointment on her fingers. She didn't leave Usha's side till the latter was back to her jovial self.
