Even if Sushant didnt "win" the trophy, I think in the long term he has gained lots from this show and experience. Now many more people are aware about his versatile dancing skills. He already used to get lots of dancing offers on programmes and award functions & now I think he will just get more opportunity and more attention :) The trophy is just a short term thing guys, so dont worry. In the bigger picture, Sushant has been the most talked about in the show, so even when people forget about the winner they won't forget the amazing performances by Sushant & Shampa. We have to give it to them that they have put across amazing choreographies and concepts!

So dnt be sad thinking about this one loss,
just wait & watch how much he's going to gain! Im sure he is!

I do not think that Chang has improved soooo much that he can actually win the title.
To me, it became very apparent in the first few weeks itself that the show is not a straight one, especially the popularity index ie the bottom two / three, The marks the judges gave were never consistent with their comments.
It seems very very unfair to all the participants IF they did not have an idea about it. already ,
As far as chang is concerned, I think it was his choreographer who was dancing the most initially.(just like Shekhars). The steps which he got were not very challenging. He was good but not that great. There were other people like Ragini, Krushna and most definitely Ankita who were far better. The way Sushant was getting his 30s was an indication of which award he would actually get. And given JDJs track record, I am not surprised.
Whether the risk Sushant took with his health was worth it is debatable.
But the person I really feel bad for is Shampa, who is a good level above the other choreos in terms of concepts, innovation and execution and who brought a certain dignity to the whole affair.
And then the question which kept coming to my mind is still unanswered. What is this show exactly about? Is it about dancing or improvement or popularity or what? Or a mixture of all the three? Who decides exactly what is the winning recipe?
I would love to have a more transparent format and data regarding this.
But I think finally it is about making money by the channel, the telephone guys, the judges and (maybe) the participants. All the time playing with the emotions of the audience.
Who wins? who loses? who knows?

Completely agree with the bold part!
I was thinking the same but I thought it would be inappropriate to ask now; it will just make us seem like we dont wanna accept the winner.

Last year I remember when Karan Singh Grover participated, he was given a lot of grief from the other participants and the anchors about his popularity. His performances weren't that great but he kept getting through because of the votes. This year that happened with Mahi but nobody said anything.. which I thought was a good thing. Sushant's a great dancer + I assume many would have voted for him but now im just confused. That's also the problem, assumption. Sony should reveal now how many votes each contestant has been getting - if the judges vote is announced publically so should our votes, after all the judges and public supposedly have an equal say in the matter.

If the show was about making the most improved the winner, this should have been clearly stated. To be honest, I think we were all a little naive. Why would they introduce the most consistent award? Technically, the one who has been most consistent in their performances should theoretically have better marks, hence should be the winner. If they wanted to promote & encourage a non-dancer becoming a dancer, then they should have made a most improved award

edit: I jus wanted to add that I think it is completelyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, and i mean COMPLETELY unfair for people to hold it against Sushant that he's a trained dancer. SO WHAT?! He trained years ago; it's not like he has been practising all the choreographies from a long time. Even Chang said he has been a good STUDENT; then same with Sushant! & how do we know if Sushant has already learnt all the dance forms?!! Everybody has an advantage or disadvantage in the show. If Sushant is a trained dancer then Chang & Yana had more time to rehearse, whereas Sushant had limited time to practise & limited time to sleep/rest, which would obviously affect his energy and performance on the day. All contestants had to bring something new and work harder, regardless of whether you danced before. Sushant did train before but it doesn't mean all these years he has been practising what he learnt; he himself said that he wanted to lose his belly😆 or showed that he wanted to lose weight :P.. so clearly he hasnt been dancing everyday..

Whatever.

So this is it .... Chang won 😔 o.k. I dont dislike Chang but seriously Sushant was so much deserving poor guy gave his everything , went sleepless, endured pain, time constraints yet he gave his best all the time he came on stage .... he deserved to win. damn really really sad felt the same way for Amit paul when he dint win II that's when I decided never to vote again on a reality show but made an exception for Sushant , what was the use , it was pre-decided 😔 well m going back to my earlier stance of never voting for reality show contestants and this time I'll be strong in my determination ..... o.k. I'll try till Nach Baliye comes along 😆

ok guyssss i just watched the first part of Jhalak dikhla jaa and as a fan we should all be proud of what he has achieved in his Jhalak experience and it's coming from our own sushi👏

1. 6 "perfects" from madhuri👍🏼👏
2. 4 hugs from madhuri😳
3. 9 times "this is it" from remo👏👍🏼
4. 10 times performer of the day👏👍🏼
5. 8 times full on 30👏👍🏼

i must say it's quite an ACHIEVEMENT!👏 and nobody has ever gotten what Sushant has earned in JDJ and it's bigger than the JDJ trophy for sure cuz past seasons winners have been getting the title but no one achieved what he achieved in these past 13 weeks😃 he created history by achieving all of the above.👏

Go Sushant Go!!! U r a Rockstar and the TRUE WINNER!

WE ARE VERY PROUD TO BE UR FAN!😃
