In fact it is he who is wholly responsible for this situation. If he hadn't given in to her demands right from the beginning(as someone pointed out in one of the posts) things wouldn't have come to this stead. He kept thinking of fulfilling his mother's wishes right from day one . But when she realized that he did have a heart of his own and expressed feelings, she couldn't take it . It was ok with her when Sachin who was much younger than Manav romanced Shravni. It was as if Manav had no right to have a life or heart of his own.She expects more from Manav . He is the eldest and the most responsible , so its kind of DEPENDING on him very naturally and instinctively ........which happens with most women who have unstable husbands like Damodar . Its not fleecing the eldest as many commonly see it . Thats simply the way it is . And u know what , even the eldest understands the reality . He puts his personal wants aside coz he is destined for responsibilities .....which Manav was before the jailing . Original PR . See what they turned Manav into now . He is staying seperate , constantly with sasural and throwing grapes and what not ........he has been rebooted . Savita is SAME as character , its Manavs character that got rebooted .
I do feel sorry for Savita from what I read but the cvs seem to be making it as un realistic as possible. Don't know what they want to show through this track. A simple fracture would have been sufficient to bring Arman to this house. In this condition even if Archu tries to please her she is going to get all the more wild. Both Damo and Manav must stop rubbing it in that she is no good in comparison to Archu. Such in adept handling of such a track by CVs.They drove her to the edge . It was exactly the way they all drove Shravani to the edge too . By constantly praising Archana too much in the face and hailing her to the sky .Damodar is ADEPT at this , he did it with Shravni too . Someone shud blast him . He knows SAvita's nature but he CONSTANTLY teases her and GOADS her to anger and at times it is unhealthy , especially when she is told .........LOOK AT U .And LOOK AT MY BAHU . If someone constantly told me this I wud flip a lid . She cooks , looks after grandchild , tries to do her rishtedaari duties too by visiting Sulo when she is sick , she even goes on her own to visit her son .........the son comes only when wife reminds him . How about appreciating that and ENCOURAGING her , instead of constantly lAUGHING at her and telling her she is FAALTU and Archana is MAHAAN ? Shravni became psycho and started screaming PRECISELY for this stupidity meted out to her . And Always my sympathy in SUCH cases goes to the ones who get mentally affected , never to the shining beacons .They leave me unimpressed .
At times feel very depressed when I hear about such Mother: son , M-I-L : D-I-L relationships . On one hand we have mothers who are sent away to old age homes . A friend's mother was literally thrown out of the house at 11 pm by her son and d- in -law. He flung a bag at her with her clothes in it and asked her to go away. All this treatment after the old lady had helped them adopt children (as the DIL couldn't conceive due to cysts) and tide over their bad period. I heard from my friend later that the DIL wouldn't give her food at times. She used to purposely give away the food to the maid and pretend in front of the husband that she had already given her the meal. What cruelty.! I know of such SAME case too .
I have a neighbour here who keeps his mother with him for exactly three months not a day more not a day less. On the day the fourth month starts she is taken to the other son who lives in a city close by. His brother too does the same. What punctiliousness nah???? Again I know of SAME kind of case .
On the other hand we have mothers who cant even tolerate their sons sleeping with their wives . I have personally known cases where the mother purposely used to sleep in the same room as their son and d-in-law. In such cases the son is one who feels any act of defiance towards the mother will make him a hen pecked husband . So he continues to pamper her. Mothers who curse their sons ! Mothers who pretend in front of their sons and instigate them against the wife even if she hasn't done anything wrong. Always blaming the DIL's parents for everything so that the girl answers back and a fight can begin .Mothers who refuse to adjust even with their own daughters .A friend's mom-in-law used to make her son sleep in her room purposely. In due course he stopped having a relationship with his wife completely !!!Can you beat that?

A simple understanding nature is enough to solve all the problems. Wonder why people cant realize that every relation ship is important in this world .A mother cannot take the place of a DIL nor can a DIL take the place of a mother. Jealousy or insecurity are feelings that must be wiped out . Same goes for all other relationships. The reason I like SAvitas character is coz its INTERESTING with VARIED shades of grey . She hates Archu but loves Manav still deeply , she goes to witness him being thrown out but rises to his defense , she is kind enuf to let Varsha stay one night under her roof and doesnt shame Vaishu by blurting her secret , She grabs Sachu crazily coz SAchin has died and pulls along alone although Manav leaves her . Much better than Sulo , Rasika and Bhavna who will CRUMBLE without their husbands support and dutiful sons .They dont have half the strength of that fault ridden interesting character called SAvita. She has neither children now , nor husband who supports nor is financially as strong as them , nor the pampered atmosphere at home where everyone panders to HER like these women r pandered to . In my opinion she beats them all .
