It has not been many days that "Pavitra Rishta", one of Zee TV's most popular daily soaps had gone for a leap of one year to make things more interesting for the viewers. However, it now seems that the viewer is far from interested in the serial, with producers noticing that the TRPs have dipped further over the past few weeks.
The change had been introduced to show the change of relationship between lead characters Manav and Archana. But with several other sitcoms and reality shows capturing the attention of the television viewer, the producers of "Pavitra Rishta" have decided on yet another time leap which is to occur in an upcoming episode of the serial. The soap however continues to remain at the top of ratings of primetime shows aired on Zee TV.
Shown at 9 for five nights a week, "Pavitra Rishta" is getting the stiffest competition from shows such as "KBC 4" and "Bigg Boss 4" which too are aired at the same time slots every night. Media reports claim that while the TRP ratings for "Pavitra Rishta" had been 6 earlier, it has managed to grab only 4 in recent weeks. The second leap, say producers may be a bigger one and the serial will then focus on Manav's determination to stop the wedding of Archana and Jaywant.
