It seemed a very instantaneous and human response to me. If savita's shouting is understandable despite the fact that it wasn't justified, why isn't Archana's slap understandable?

Or should I leave the debate for tonight???

Biggest point I have already written above. It seemed human to me. right- wrong is all debatable. At such a time, when he has thrown a loved one into prison where he is almost being subjected to 3rd degree torture, and you come to know the culprit, then one doesn't have the patience to sit, figure it out. First reaction is of utmost anger. And if Archu slapped him in that anger, I find it completely understandable. As I said- right- wrong are debatable. But for me the above point is the most important point.
