Sushant and Pooja at loggerheads?
Life imitates art more than art imitates life, Pooja Pihal and Sushant Singh Rajput, who essay the roles of Shravani and Manav on the popular show, Pavitra Rishta will vouch for it.
The two never are really cordial on the show as Shravani incessantly accuses Manav of having a relationship with Archana (Ankita Lokhande) outside their relationship and keeps picking a fight with him. In real life too, the two have turned cold towards each other. If sources from the show are to be believed, then the duo has stopped talking to each other completely let alone be the customary greetings.
Informs a reliable source from the show, "Pihal and Rajput were never really close friends to start with but an incident resulted in a cold war between the two actors. An over-zealous electronic reporter wanted to take a byte of them together and Sushant who wasn't in the best of moods on the said day, denied a byte together. Apparently, Sushant was tired of shooting round the clock for his daily Pavitra Rishta and reality show – Zara Nachke Dikha. Poor reporter was left with no choice but discuss the matter with Pooja. The reporter apparently told her that Sushant has refused her a byte with her which understandably irked her. Pihal went on to reason it out with the lad who refused having had said that. He told Pooja that he is tired and doesn't want to give any bytes. Pooja tried to clear the air from her end but the incident definitely strained their professional rapport."
Another source adds, "Sushant who was media savvy till Zara Nachke Dikha happened to him has all of sudden started throwing attitude. He is never accessible for bytes and also doesn't converse with his co-actors like he used to do before. Hope things turn back to normalcy again on the show."
When contacted, Pihal confirmed the incident but refuted any cold vibes between them. Says she, "I was never over-friendly with Sushant. Such an incident did take place but it hasn't affected my professional relationship with Sushant. We discuss our scenes and exchange customary greetings."
We tried contacting Rajput but he remained unavailable.We hope some Ms. Lokhande is able to smoke peace between the warring duo.
