Yes, in fact - Damodar should confront Savita that she was one of the causes of the crisis. Savita is very manipulative and never admits to being wrong. She willfully sacrificed her son's happiness for her spite and greed (initially) and then never really did anything about it. I think the ideal scene basically starts at the point where Archana walks away from the marriage place and Manav looks to everyone and says, I cannot marry anyone else. Let the chips fall as they may. Thats what was missing in this guy. He never stood up for their relationship. If he did that, he basically takes a stance and lets Shravani know their relationship has no future. Just because Archana gives a few doomsday scenarios of Shravani's life, doesnt mean those have to happen - heck, what does she know?

yeah exactly what does she know . What about manav's own brains . That man is always busy trying to keep his momma happy . Whoever she says ' go fill her maang' he does that . Tomorrow if she bullies him to fill Lakshmi Kaki's maang , he will do that .

As for Archana, it is very likely her parents will start looking for guys for her very soon. Hopefully they show some decent person that she actually has a shot at happiness with and no drama. Once all that is in place, she should learn of Manav's single status and THEN decide. She should be given alternatives for sure. If Manav is married to Shravani, even in the most flimsiest way, then Archana HAS to have an uber goodlooking, rich and decent husband. Forget Pavitra Rishta.

totally agree if the male lead can move on why can't they show the female lead moving on also they are very narrow minded people

KS - couldnt agree with you more on most of what you said. No two thoughts about why Archana does not deserve another guy - much better than Manav in terms of commitment to her. However, my whole argument is based on the premise of love between Archana and Manav. If it has held up, it has held up. Manav putting sindoor on Shravani is bizarre and hollow and yes, it did represent commitment but the act is meaningless both in the Hindu law and also in the eyes of real law. It was just drama..he was legally married to another woman then, so it has no value. Also, he has at several occasions admonished Shravani that they were not married. When I say flimisiest of marriages, I mean anything post divorce. If he has had a court marriage/marriage in a temple/ marriage in front of his chawl buddies - it all holds. It all shows an intent to marry Shravani and have her as his wife and any of this means that Archana is the other woman and I am with you then, she should move on and never look back.

If on the other hand, he refused to marry Shravani after Archana left him, solely because he loved only Archana, he deserves a dekho - because then he has demonstrated what he never has before - love for Archana over all his silly made up responsibilities.

Having said this though, I want Archana to be able to make a choice and not left with only Manav. She should be given a shot at a relationship with a nice, stable decent, goodlooking man who adores her. This would help counter a lot of Manav effect in her life. When she meets such a man and lets herself think about him, only then should Manav's availability come to fore. Else, its no fair fight. Then, Archana can decide if she wants to stay with her great love Manav or this perfectly viable option Man #2. Manav to be her great love has to prove SHE is the only woman in his life come what may. Failing which, Archana should never be tempted with his miseries. Again, I reiterate, during all this, she should be kept away from his family. Its impossible for her to resist all of them at any point.

You have a very valid point Kool but that guy , the first husband in Nikaah was terrible , he used to hit his wife .

If he put sindooron Shravani , he put sindoor on Archana to after a few days only , with his will then ..
