PR FANFIC

PART 1

It was the Karanjkars' household. "Archana! Did u see my spects?" yelled Baba.

"Archu, get Punni ready for school" called out Manju. "Archu Thai, is my tiffin ready?", asked Versha from her room." Oh God!, thai did u see my pink salwar?" shouted Vaishali. Sulochana, who was returning from temple saw her daughter Archana running here and there doing all the work. Archana was a girl of 25 yet unmarried because she is not educated. She is only 8^th standard. She left her studies to take care of her ill mother.

"I should get her married soon" thought Sulochana with a sigh. After finishing all the work Archu came to Sulochana ,"I'm going to temple aai. Today is Sankashti na."

"ok beta" said Sulochana.

It was the Deshmukhs' household. Savita aai was yelling at her neighbour, "How dare you put your clothes infront of my house?". The neighbour replied,"Arre thai there is no place to put that is why I put it here." Savita, "If there is no place then put it on your head". "Thai, this is too much." The argument was going on. Manav, who was getting ready to go to garage came and took his aai in. Just then his brother Sachin came out, "Dada, today is my interview." Manav gives money for his use and wishes him all the best. Just then his sister Vandita came , "Dada, tomorrow is the last date for paying fees in college." "Don't worry Vandu I will get the money ready". Saying this, Manav left for temple before going to garage as that day was Sankashti.

Archana and Manav walked towards the temple and they reached the place where Bappa's idol was there. They closed their eyes to pray. They opened their eyes simultaneously to see a flower falling from Bappa's feet. The Pundit looked at them both and said " Bappa has given blessings for you both. May you both live happily forever." At this, both were surprised and looked at each other. Manav was completely mesmerized by her beautiful eyes that he just kept staring at her. Archana had a feeling that she had already met him sometime before. Their eye lock was broken when they heard the temple bell ringing. They went away in their ways. Both could not understand what kind of feeling they were undergoing.

Archana went down the temple thinking about the guy she just met at the temple. Manav was completely taken away by her beauty. He was in a thought that he did not realize a car coming towards him with high speed. It seems that the driver has drunk. The car was getting near Manav. It was the last minute he noticed that the car was about to hit him?????.

Manav was simply shocked that he could not do anything. Suddenly he felt someone pushing him and he fell to the side of the road.

Archana was walking thinking about the guy she met at the temple when she saw that the same guy's life was under danger. A car was approaching him and Archu ran towards him shouting "Suniye?.".She pushed him to the other side of the road.

In the process, Archu lost her balance and fell on him. Their eyes met once again but Archu got up quickly and helped him to get up.

After a few minutes, they were walking side by side in the road.

"Thank you, you have saved my life today."

"It is ok. Are you hurt anywhere?"

"No, I'm alright"

Just then an auto came nearby. Archu got into the auto and said "Bye". Manav too shaked his hand to say bye. After the auto had left, Manav asked to himself, " How come I didn't ask her name?" Just then his phone rang, he took up the phone "Yes, what, I'm coming right now". He went to see his baba lying unconscious. He went to realize the foul smell of alcohol coming from him. He thought to himself, "As usual, Baba has drunk. God knows what aai is going to do". He called an auto and let Baba in.

Savita aai was disgusted to see Baba drunk. She shouts at him, "This man is never going to change.I don't know whether a bahu can change him or not." Saying this she looked at Manav. Manav suddenly got a glimpse of the girl who saved him. Then he says,"aai, take him inside. He is not in a position to hear anything." Aai goes in with baba murmuring something.

(At the Karanjkars) It was evening and Archu was busy preparing snacs for everyone. Manju entered into the house.

Sulochana asks her, "Why are u late Manju?"

"I went to aai's house. She told me to ask you something."

"Ask beta"

"That?.."

"Why are you hesitating? Tell bahu. I'm your aai."

"She asked Archu's hand in marriage for Ajit."

Sulochana and Manohar Baba was surprised to hear this. Archu was a bit shocked to hear this. Sulochana looked at Manohar and he shook his head in approval. Sulochana turned to Manju, "This is a good proposal. Tell your aai that we accept this proposal" Manju went inside happily. After a few minutes she came back and said, "Tomorrow aai and Ajit are coming to see Archana."

Sulochana went to Bappa's idol, "Bappa, please make this proposal come true."

Manav went to a hotel to meet his boss. He asked the receptionist, "Mr.Girish's room number please."

She replied " Room no.102, Sir". He approached towards the room????
