Ankita meets with an accident - article

Fans have been disheartened ever since the Manav-Archana divorce happened in Pavitra Rishta. But looks like even the actors have been affected by it as recently Ankita Lokhande (Archana) met with an accident on her way back home.

The actress was in a hurry to rush home when her auto rickshaw skidded and toppled sideways. Ankita got away with major bruises on her body. Says a shaken Ankita, "I just didn't know what hit me when the accident took place. It was extremely sudden and quite painful. I guess I was too engrossed in my conversation on the phone to notice that the auto driver had started speeding ridiculously on the wet, slippery road."

Interestingly, her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput (Manav) had a mighty fall that has landed his foot in a bandage. The shoot had to be stalled and both the leads have been asked to take rest. Talking about the strange co-incidence, Rajput says, "I think the divorce on screen hasn't proved too lucky for us!"
