These are the reasons I have always gone with brand new house as u can pick and get things u really want and never have to deal with other's choices unless u like it...

I am sure your house will turn out beautiful as u decorate it lil by lil...

And as yo uhave said , that is exactly the kind of look I want for the windows ..

It's a pretty looking house and it does not need that much decoraating . I want to avoid cluttering at any cost so will do things very very slwoly ... just want to make it liveable for now . You are not going to believe it but my husband has not seen it at all ., I just send him a model home picture when I was about to buy it , other than that I gave him some idea over the phone ..

He has not seen it at all, he didn't even want to see pictures when it was being done up and wants me to completely set it up then he will come , hopefully to a nice surprise .

My brother in law tells me that it is his way of avoiding all the work 😆 , and he does not get in trouble because he says , Oh I want her to do thinsg like she wants ....😈

I have cathedral ceilings in my living room (walkout bungalow) and I have reddish maroon drapes that I got professionally done. My furniture is dark dark almost black and my living room and dining room have a black, gold and maroonish red theme of colors. One side of the wall is painted maroon and is the feature wall.....whenever anyone comes to my house, their mouth just drops.....My hardwood floor is dark brown.

Tanya, I did not spend a lot of money in my living room and dining room custom fabric drapes, AND they look very very elegant. dont cover them with blinds....just my suggestion.

Landscaping is another wonderful opportunity going with brand new house...

Tanya, my mistake that I will not advise interlocking bricks in the drive way. Snow removal is very hard and if you put salt on it, they leave marks any you have to scrub them out in spring. We had a couple of slip and fall moments on the drive way after the freezing rain.

Just my suggestions....

Bu tthat's a very good tip and I wil lsurely keep it in mind .

I also don't want to spend money , don't have too much to spend ...😆

The house itself is very pretty ..so why clutter it .

Your home sounds so gorgeous ... mashallah . It's best to get the drapes and curtains s done from someone . For my room I am also considering curtains I saw in Pier 1 Imports . They have some good stuff ..

I cant wait for the day I hav my own house nd I decorate it 😍 Tanya, hav u seen the houses on mississauga road? (I see them everyday on my way to uni!!) I want a house there 😍 😃 I will buy a house there when I become a millionaire 😃

Inshallah , and I pray to God that it is not just a big rich house but it should be a home where you would be very very very happy .

Sid when I got married , me and my husband lived ina one bed room apartment and then gradually now we have this and all other things.

Believe me Sid , I was just as happy in that apartment as I am here now . It' s fun climbing the ladder up gradually ..

As long as you are with the right person .

The Mississauga road homes are Wow ... absolutely gorgeous ...
