I know . What he is doing now , promising to Archana that he will share his sorrows and joys with her and cannot connect with anyone else ( read Shravani ) , that is unfair to his new wife ...

he should at least make an effort to share his joys an sorrows with her .

If he is marrying her then he has to give that girl a chance .

satish is great......totally stole show yesterday....varshas falling in love with him..

manav will always think of shrav as sachins gf/wife.....he will not be able to commit 100% if marriage takes place..which I don't think will..😆

Ekta knows what shes doing...giving out mixed signals...she knows the TRPs will rocket when the reunion is shown in june...( or am I being optimistic?)..😕

It is not Manavs feelings Im talking about , it is more about Archna's prerogative . My dears , in typicaly traditional families like shown in PR , brothers rarely go around touching sisters tummies to feel kicks [ The Vandu point] and almost NEVER brother's wives . Things today have changed and a few may be doing it .......few in educated , progressive families ..........NOT in chawl like uneducated families where old way still prevails [ which they show in PR ] .

So a man experiences this mystification , this pleasure only when HIS wife becomes preggy , in the PRIVACY of their bedroom , before she goes in the seventh month to her maayka for the first delivery of the baby .This is Marathi tradition .In the Seventh month , after the baby shower , The Girls Dad takes her [ as the eighth month is regarded inauspicious] only to bring her back 3 months after the delivery with a bonny baby . The naming ceremoiny takes place at Girls place as per the Marathi tradition called the Barsaa , and the boys family and his relatives r invited . So the girls stay is 6 months.......and this is ONLY with the first child . Second child is at sasural , and do are others as then she becomes an experienced mom .

This tradition was there coz this afforded the girl an excuse to live at her maayka and experience relaxation and relief in first pregnancy as most marraiges In india were arranged marraiges and girls were married off very young back then . They needed their moms at this time more than mother in laws to whom they were not so used . Also , Sex had to be STOPPED once the pregnancy advanced .....if the youthful couple did not have the common sense to do it , the baby wud be damaged or born early . So all these traditions .They were ways of taking precautions bas .

Point is........The Man felt a baby kicking only in his wifes tummy and not in any other woman, even his own sister .Yes I know , in 3 Idiots Kareenas sister tells Karreenas BF to feel her tummy etc , but today we r showing a fast moving generation .The society shown in PR still reflects old way only .

Kool,very well explained.I had no idea about such intricacies of marathi culture...so,thought may be this is possible....

True,PR reflects old ways only but Archana manav seem to have progressed into the 25th century...way too broadminded for the old ways of chawl life...after all,elder bro divorcing his wife for younger one's fiance doesnt look like a chapter from chawl life

Kool, why just feeling the baby 😆 , that's nothing . He even put sindoor on another woman, he got commited to another woman in a proper ceremony . He has stripped Archana of all her rights and given them to Shravani .

But that is not the worst thing that he is doing ...the worst thing is that even after feeling the baby , the next minute he was at the balcony thinking of ways to help Archana and telling her in very clear words.

I don't want to loose you.

I want to share my joys and sorrows with you .

You have to be my sahara .

You have every right to tell me off.

I cannot bond with anyone with you ..

Here he has totally stripped Shravani of all her rights . At least after feeling the baby it should have been shown that he is in his room thinking of the reason he is divorcing his wife and the joy the baby will bring .

He clearly did not give that baby kicking in the tummy any impotance at all...he was just a happy Uncle when Shravani was talking ....

Perhaps thinking of ways how to keep a place in Archana's heart even after the divorce ....how to first divorce her but make sure the she is never free of him ....

extremely Unfair , he knows she is hopelssly in love with him . He is not so he should not be pushing down this friends forever idea in her head . It's not good for her .In fact everytime sh etalks of being there for him and his family ...he shoul;d discourage her .

He is going in a new relationship , not her ...He is being unfair to both Archana and Shravani .

PR shows progress and backwardness all jumbled up together GM . If at all progress is shown , it is shown for the wrong reasons. Like Shravni is given support for agreeing to marry Manav . If u guys r showing support to an unwed mom as a social cause ..........that Dont just throw the unwed mom on the streets and dont insist on killing the baby either due to social stigma , be HUMAN and give her a helping hand , They shud have shown that the DEshmukhs helpled Shravni just as Sachins unwed wife . Why this business of making her marry the elder brother . That progressive action of help was marred by this backward thought that a woman needs marraige to somehow survive in her life , be it the boys bro , or a mechanic even if she is highly educated .

Shravni is given support but Vandu is not . Vandu is encouraged to stay at her horrid sasural where she is UNSAFE . The husband is clearly an animal who needs to be behind bars and the mother in law is vicious . We see only two times she being asked verbally to come home but STRESS is not given .To encourage her to live in that marraige , mother even opts to dance like a prostitute . I will dance like a prostitute for u , even sell my body at this age , just Have a marraige , stay put in ur marraige ha is the backward , ghatiya message .

And so my panga with the Shakkar philosophy . Archna told it to Varsha and said one sentence that turned me against her [ till then I had been vociferously defending her] ............YEHI REET HAI FOR AURAT . If this kind of extreme backwardness is gonna be projected thru the lead heroine , I wont support her at all as a viewer coz thousands of young women r DYING in India by staying put in abusive marraiges only coz their moms have drilled it in their heads that DIE AT UR SASURAAL BUT DONT COME BACK EVER < THIS IS ONLY THE REET FOR WOMAN . And we see Archna doing it in plenty .She suffers any humiliation just to cling on there .She will never get my support till she resumes education and I will come down very hard on her and Manav if they go ahead with this good friend BS and r unfair to Shravni . Archna shud either take a stand and say NO to the divorce right now if she cant get go of hubby [ bhaad mein gayi Shravni] or get out of there annd CUT memories . This We will remain friends and love with our eyes is SICK .
