Nikita, I agree on your observation re today's episode..boring…so you see, they are not entirely wrong when constantly in search of twists or shocks or dinchak melodrama!😉

Tanya, you know I have guessed on Kool's side…but of lately, I am thinking of switching the side! Simple reason is this. Since BT has always thrived on shock value /never bothering about consistencies or commonsense, will they not go for divorce route? Knowing full well that most of the viewers are anticipating/ expecting no divorce? Or that will be too big a bite for even those morons?😲

Samath totally agree with you which is why I am tanyas side. CV's and Ekta hate happiness especially of their male leads. This divorce will happen. I don;t want it too but it will.
Loving her and dyign for her is not going to make the man change his character enough to break his promise
hope😊

@Samarth: I agree with you, Manav is going through hell, but people are having more sympathy with Archu. Its not just you- even I- an ardent Manav fan has more sympathy for Archu, even though after the divorce many routes will open up for her- she will be back to school and job, and may even consider matrimony in future owing to pressure from her Aai, but Manav will be trapped in a loveless marriage with an insensitive and selfish woman.

I guess everyone has more sympathy for Archu cos of 1.) The suffering and abuse she has been shown to go through 2.) The devi type image that has been portrayed 3.) the ball is in Manav's court now and only Manav can now stop this divorce.

Personally I'm ticked off with the fact that the creatives have made Manav into a very weak character who cannot sit down for two minutes and try and think of an ethical and morally satisfactory solution out of the whole mess like we here at india-forums are trying to do. Instead they show him crying bappa bappa which is frankly getting on my nerves now. Of course, the fault here is of the creatives who will make Shravani negative instead of showing a little maturity and handing the unwed mother issue with a little dignity.

@ stillhopefull

Now why is Ekta so much against 'happiness' ? Just commercial interests? or we are subjected to the views of an unhappy person? Surely this would have been a matter of private life of a successful person and not our business unless that success is built on the unsatisfied viewership of audience in public.

@ nikita

Nothing like that Nikita…for many weeks…not able to stay much on the comp.… would hardly peep into some familiar threads and be gone…as a set pattern-once in morning and once in evening…I too enjoyed posting here…never fearing much about errors and ommissions…will post something…thanks.

But Nikita I disagree on one point. Manav is not made weak beyond redemption. He is very sensitive guy, lots of us can identify with…And Bappa/God is a moral support system for an honest mind which is very sensitive and not obtuse…just uneducated and a bit overwhelmed under the weight of a dilemma which is more circumstantial then of his own making.

@samarth:

Ekta seems a little sadistic in her relationship with her viewers. her past record has shown that the more miserable she makes her viewers the least effect it has on her viewership maybe because her viewers are usually optimistic that believe that after all this unnecessary misery they are going to reap some hard-earned positive rewards for their dedicated patronage??

today manav blew up on some innocent guy. to me the scene may not have been significant to the plot but rather his state of mind. the more cornered he feels on the choo front and the greater his inner frustration, some one as repressed at him is bound to lash out violently when least expected. he cannot do it to his family who he treasures so he is going to do it to strangers. Also while he forces himself to call her his friend, his natural instinct and reaction is always to respond to her, relate to her and react to her as his wife. this is an uncontrolled reaction/ response, Archu was right, this will not change because a court told him so. its what his heart and his mind belives. I pity him more than anyone on the show including Archu.
