I do NOT watch it as a romance . I see it as a story plain and simple . I feel strongly about gender issues too . I dont approve of gender discrimination . This full story supports gender discrimination . Gender discrimination and woman abuse are the two angles in which I view this show and in that sense I will never forgive Manav if he backs down from his commitment to Shravni NOW . No way . He had plenty of opportunities , his father told him so many times . Now when her health is in precarious condition and pregnancuy is advanced if this hero suddenly drops her saying hey now I find my feelings for Archu r stronger , I sincerely hope Shravni shows him the worst roop possible and makes him a bhikaari and twists his moms arm in front of him like he did to Archu .

But I was saying, if he decides to take all responsibility of Shravani, take care of her child etc (why will this affect her health, I fail to understand, she was marrying for baby's sake only, so be happy for the baby now) then also will you be angry. I agree that he did not back out when he had a chance to do it, coz he sincerely cared for her.... no selfish intentions AT ALL.... that was his commitment and he respected it...if at the last moment he finds out that he simply doesn't have the last iota of strength required to go on with this marriage coz of his pricking conscience since at the end of the day he is a human and not any superhero or god then you won't have any sympathy for him? Agree with you here... Manav has done a lot for the sake of the baby....even went to the extent of committing bigamy so that Shravani would not abort. He may be backing out from marriage but not backing out from his commitment to the baby. And he has always thought of shravani... he decided to get married to shravani since girishji wanted her to abort and she was saying she would commit suicide if he does that.

Shravani and Manav were getting married for baby' sake only. Manav had clearly told I'm making a compromise. And Shravani had heard him speaking that he loves Archana. She was the one who assumed that things would get all right even though she had heard him saying he could not marry her. Then if Manav does not back out from his commitment to the baby... (which was his original commitment) in fact he says he will take care of Shravani as well, then I really don't find a reason for Shravani to be angry... she may feel sad and that is understandable coz she has started falling for him.

If Manav hadn't been in the picture, what would Girishji have done? Got an abortion done forcefully and Shravani would have committed suicide or run away.

Well , encouraged by him and his greedy mom , she has started falling for him . In a huge way . And thats why I called this Manav a moron coz Had he ever stopped and thought that how I will touch her or make physical love with her .........that I cannot just give baby a name and go to the garage and expect a young gal like her to live the life of a nun ?
