But honestly, they make a very good couple...both seem to love each other very intensely. I realized that from their karvachauth sbs....that was so honest ...no amount of good acting (not even Brad Pitt) could have brought out that love in Manav's eyes..Jeez that was pure.

Well, I think we've been encouraged/allowed to think there's something between them off screen because one of the SBS or SBB anchors, I think, said they'd gone with their families to Shimla over the New Year. But who knows... new actors and actresses will do a lot to give a serial or a film romantic publicity and this won't the first time a lead pair will have been matched off in real (i.e.gossip rag) life to give things an additional zing on screen. I have noticed, though, that she tends to touch his hand, shoulder, etc. more than he does. He doesn't seem so interested. Again, who knows what's real and what's scripted? But he makes these odd remarks about Additi /Heer, for example, and she did also come to his birthday bash too, so for all we know..... besides she's a "thet" North Indian babe, probably more to his taste than amchi Marathi mulgi. I think the actor Sushant is more than a little in love both with himself and with the idea of himself as some kind of Don Juan who can carry on suavely with several people at a time, and part of his general insouciance in regard to romantic choices off screen comes from a need to portray this Krishna-amongst-the-Gopis image. But then again, this could be a career move; a Sushant committing so soon is also possibly a Sushant who'll lose out on thousands of young and besotted fans. It's all show biz, sweety. Even the actors themselves sometimes can't figure out what's real and what's not, to aap aur hum amateur analysts kis khet ki mooli hain? :-)

It's a fantastic couple ( on screen that is ) . I hope they both help each other out a lot and do well in life .

@Unknown: are you Sushant's India Forums alter-ego?? Or should that be altar-ego?? :-) I mean, how do YOU know his girlfriend looks like Ankita? :-)

But OK, I'll buy your he's-still-young line of defence.

However, I agree with Tanyaz: there is something eminently genuine about Ankita, something very sweet and nice and likeable about the way she laughs with her hand over her mouth in those SBS clips. She seems less concerned with promoting some kind of image of herself. I think she's also a better dancer than he is, by the way. I have to say that while on screen it's Manav who holds my attention, away from PR it's Ankita - or to put it more correctly, the person she allows us to see - who always seems more attractive and real and dependable than Sushant. But then she's older I think; a 25 or 26 year old woman is always much more grounded than a 24 year old boy-just-turned-man. If they are actually going out, Tanyaz, I do believe too that he's the lucky one. I hope he realizes that, and I hope she doesn't get hurt; he seems like he hasn't yet sown all his wild oats. And success brings out a lot of wild oats in most males his age.

I agree that Ankita is very touchy and likes to play around alot, however, I disagree that she appears to be the one more interested in a relationship. It looks very mutual to me. Why was she so up and front at his birthday party? Where was his gf? Also, Sushant spoke glowingly about the cake she gave him.

If their relationship is all "kosher" then I apologize and would say they are better that many Bollywood actors and actresses.

I do not think that Sushant is that kind of guy who would be dating diff girls...Just having fun. Yes, maybe he is too young to think about getting married.

@prfan5: boss, most men like to think of themselves as players. Ummeed pe duniya kayam hai, you know. :-) Jo ban sakte hain ban lete hain, jo nahin bane, ro lete hain. :-) Sushant is good looking, talented, and popular enough to give it a shot.... we'll see.
