I find Archana's character VERY UNPREDICTABLE!! When it was time for her to Support Manav and say NO to her Aai about leaving Manav's house,then she didn't say a word(I wonder if she really believed in Manav at that time?) and didn't even Care what the consequences of her leaving the house accusing her husband of infidelity would be😕 and NOW she's Sooooooooooooooo worried that Police Complaint might spoil her Marital life?? What's there to save anyways???????????? And about torture,Manav's Aai had actually done a lot(Can't help but agreeing to Majusha n Vinod on this Point😲) ISN'T DOWRY EXTORTION A MAJOR FORM OF TORTURING DAUGHTERs-IN-LAW????????????😲 It Is !!Savita tried to take away Archana's things right after she got married and when she was not satisfied with what she Got She started the EVIL GAME Of demanding Gold from Archana's family via Archana............. she tried to Keep manav and archana seperated ..that was a form of torture too!!

And Yes,last but not the least she shouted evil things about Archana coming to Archana's house..........it's not that putting them in Jail can be supported but yes,Archana had to endure torture in her Mother-in-law's hands!!

Agree with you, even I find Archana's character very unpredictable, all these days she didn't support her husband, believed him to be characterless, didn't admit even to herself that she loved him, was angry at him cos he spoke of her and satish, and was only too eager to divorce him... but now she has taken a complete u-turn and is now behaving as if she is madly and badly in love with him, all the anger that she had regarding his cheating her has vanished in thin air.. ok if not anger then at least we cud have seen a slight disappointment or resentment.... she didn't even say it in front of satish or sulochana or even manju or varshu...but no.. its as if she is the victim and manav is the one who is wrong (whereas its completely her fault, she has only shown him her hatred all these months... how is he to believe her or her love) ...

Till yesterday she was sick of his aai's behavior.. today I expected her to say to Manju that I know Aai has not behaved well with me but why shud the others be punished cos of her... but she didn't say it at all... she has probably gone back to thinking that my husband and his family is my God, doesn't matter if he is characterless and a pimp, or his aai is a MIL from hell...

She said today that she cannot bear to disappoint Manav... has she any idea that she must have caused 10 times more disappointment to Manav in the last few months... why wasn't she concerned then.. where did the love go?? I bet these are the questions Manav himself shud ask Archana at one point in the serial.. instead of showing her as an oh-so perfect goddess, she shud be shown as a normal person who learns from her mistakes,corrects them and moves on in life.. they shud have shown something like that, that she confides in Varsha that maybe she is wrong and Manav is innocent..

Archana is a very confused girl . She is not a strong person at all . She can't even stand for the person she loves so much . I think for the first time she tried to but still it was lame and not effective .

She will have to come up with something shocking and drastic to make us sympathise with her .

Archana's character is unpredictable, there was a time I believed her love for Manav as she used to fight for him and stand by him but then one day she just left. Archana just walked away from her marriage and never looked back, when she was given the opportunity to talk to Manav she chose to treat him like dirt. Now all of a sudden Archana has realized she loves Manav, and wants to be with him. Her realization has come too late, she let too much time pass and her attitude did not help matters. Just like Manav tried hard to prove his innocence to Archana and her family, it is her turn to do the same for Manav and his family. Archana is going to have to put up a fight for what she wants.

I think what really hit her was when her mother fixed the rishta with satish . Just the thought of another man getting close to her was enough to really shake her up .

I don't think she wants to even think of another man let alone get married to someone other than Manav . That is what has effected her a lot . Plus Varsha has a lot to do with Archu 's changed attitude towards Manav .

No matter how much you get angry with Archana , you have to understand that she did take so much mental torture from Manav 's mother . It was unbelievable how much that woman used to insult her and try to ruin her life . Despite that she still tried to stuck it out for Manav's sake .

Any girl would find it very difficult to survive in a house where she is humiliated like this day and night .

I agree with most of what you've written, but I still feel that Archana should've given Manav a chance to talk to her. Savita's treatment towards her shouldn't have stopped her from at least hearing Manav out. She was given lots of chances to just talk to him, instead she shut him out now she is experiencing what Manav did.

I agree absolutely with you as well, in fact when I look back I find this as one of the reasons to still like Archna, that she tried to stick with Aai for Manav's sake.. but again punishing Manav for his Aai's mistakes is completely wrong

I agree totally with Tanyaz .

Archna who was sort of trained never to think for herself actually got into touch with her own feelings due to her strange 15 day non consummated marraige [ which wud have been passsed off as a bad dream by many girls in thie world however ' great ' Manav may be ]..........and in the process , found her own self , just like Varsha did .

The fact remains that whatever Manju and Vinod said was actually true . Abuse is not necessarily physical . The horror of having a mother in law breathing down your neck like Savita did .........was also terrible abuse . The character assasinations she did especially , in public places , was also horrid abuse . Only yesterday here in the US we saw the episode where Savita barges in on her first day at office with Satish and tells her now close the door and do what u want with your yaar ............and the full office staff was listening . Frankly , any girl wud go into depression or commit sucide after living and enduring Savita..............the great looks of hot Manav or his silent love wud have taken a backseat long ago .

My anger against Manav's character is due to the fact that his love was not strong enough to shield Archana from that abuse during that 15 day stay or even afterwards . He buckled down when Savita threatened to leave the house and signed those papers . He tried to placate a dowry demand by supplying it himself instead of taking a hard stand against his mother . He told Archana to leave instead of telling his mother to back off in the engagement party . I find his mother worship more strong than his love for a simple , cultured girl who he knew very well was of excellent character .

Whatever Manju said , villain though she was , is true . Varsha had suggested long back that Savita needed to be handed over to the police . The worst part is even after this experience the woman wont change her colors . Her son pampers her far too much . Aai , AAi Aai as if she is some goddess . This puts me totally off against Manav . I understand his ire against Archu but give us a break with ur sainted mom .

I hate the fact that Savita continues with her manhoos Archana tirade . She was instrumental in breaking Archu Manav up with Manjus aid . I will feel Manav has evolved only if he truly takes a stand against Savita one day . Her punishment in the lock up obviously taught her nothing and she deserves a far more worse fate .

Yup , Manav too is largely to be blamed for his mother's attitude .

Because I hate Savita , I just don't like when Manav does this Aie Aie Aie bit. He does it more now , before he did stood up for Archana a couple of times , not any more .He has really totally gone off Archana .Where has all the love gone ???? I used to like this show for the sweet romantic moments . They are just not there any more .😭
