I have stopped watching Pavitra Rishta for the past two weeks (since the satya narayan puja episode). It seems that the story is moving too slow and the characters are not growing. They have been stuck in what i call "spineless mode". The two leads do not have the guts to stand up against their mothers and for what they believe is right. i mean there are numerous times when you hear manav say that he knows his aai is wrong but he cannot do anything about it!!!!

The Creatives need to show a little more substance to characters. Archana and Manav are victims of self-inflicted pain, especially Archana. How is it that she does not have any sense of what is right and what is wrong.

anyways, unless these two stand up for each other, this show is going to do down big time!

To top it off, just yesterday (in their world) he burned his hand and proclaimed his innocence and love for her. To add to that, Archana saw that Manav was just as religious (if not more so) than her, and he would never lie in the position he was in. But no... if Sulochana says that he is bad then he must be bad, the end, done, no questions asked.

This better not turn out to be another Jai-Bani type relationship, where they "love" each other but spend more time doubting, misunderstanding, and cheating on each other. This show has become such a big mess, I don't know how they will get out of it without either ruining the story or making it obvious that they're trying to save TRPs by just snapping their fingers and bringing them back together.

If I sat down and talked with someone about how Archana is driving me crazy, I could go on for hours and hours and possibly days.
