Why is it that Manav and Archana don't get a lot of screentime? The storylines always seem more focused on Archana's family or the mother in laws rather than Archana and Manav's relationship. Sure they have some scenes but not enough. Even before Manav and Archana seperated we only got a few scenes with them which is unfortunate considering they are two of the main characters. In today's episode, Varsha's storyline got more importance instead of Archana and Manav's. Shouldn't the creatives be focused on Archana and Manav's seperation and trying to get them back together? This show seriously lacks balance.

i agree...they should focus on manav and archana, as they are the lead pair...
even if they do have other stories...I udnerstand that the stories can't connect, but atleast show interaction between characters...I don't see the three sisters sitting togehter and talking...they were some scenes with varsha and vaishali...but rarely do u see the three of them, alone, without their parents...I have sisters and often, we discuss our problems with one another and try to help one another out...
I don't see any of these girls helping one another...they just look on and cry with their mother...that's not realistic...in fact, most people are closer to their siblings then they are with their parents...
I don't even see manav interacting with his brother and sister...neither of them ever approach him or offer to help him clear his name...
and where is manav's father?
creatives: nothing is adding up...do something, or u won't have any viewers left, as it seems we are too intelligent for ur mindless story...

@uzee: I agree with you! They haven't really developed a lot of relationships in this show. They have left out so many important connections, and only highlight them minutely when they can act as a catalyst. Seriously though, the Karanjkar house is very Sulochana-centric. In the other house, Manav seems so lonely, I feel bad for him. As you pointed out (in another post I think) that his mother is carried away in greed, his father seems to be on a long holiday, and what I think is worst is that even his siblings don't really understand him. Manav seems so distant from them, as Sachin is shown to have priorities he often deems higher than his brother and Vandita tries but her character is rather weak and underdeveloped. How sad, at a time when he needs support the most he has none.

Also, I find the lack of screentime a blasphemy! Do the creatives think that they can get away with this? I recall that even in the 3 weeks we considered good (really only because Archana and Manav were together) they only had about one (maximum three minute) scene a day. If they ever wonder why the show is going down hill (which hopefully it won't) or why the lead couple doesn't have a high fan following, then the answer is right here. All of the currently popular lead couples get a lot of screentime. I've never seen KDMHMD, but from what I've seen on this website they have a large fan following because (from what I see in lots of pictures) they seem to have had a lot of screentime together to create those magical moments. Similarly in the show with the highest TRPs, YRKKH, I'm quite sure the lead couple is shown multiple times in an episode (I'm not completely sure though because I can't stand watching that show). Even lead couples who are now legendary in the television world, like Gauri-Pratham from Kutumb, shared a lot of screentime. Most of it wasn't even remotely close to romantic scenes, but they were there atleast and they were together. I wonder how long it will take the creatives to catch on to that idea.

awww, don't feel too disgusted with the idiots creatives hun, u see the show is no longer abt manav and Archu Pavitra Rishta again but it's now abt Varsha and her office gang/Sulochona Rishta and very soon both the title of the show and the title montage is gonna change to Varsha and her office gang vs Sulochona, then the creatives and Ekta are gonna be the only watching their crap.

arre yaar
romance nahii dikhate but atleast show us some bits in pieces scenes of them

I know and understand that everyone need to be given equal screen timings, but since Archu has left Manav's House … we hardly get to see Manav's family or ArMan scene …. The focus has totally gone to Varsha n her problems😕

Even I feel that they lack a fanbase despite being such a fantabulous jodi is because the creatives dont concentrate on their story. Its more about Archu's interaction with her mother or Savita's greed. Give us more Armaan scenes, and see how this show rockets to the top.

Manav and Archana are sidelined for their families which is so unfair. This show is supposed to be about their relationship, their problems not the problems of their familes. I wouldn't have minded seeing Varsha's storyline had we seen more of Archana and Manav's. This is the first serial I've seen in which the lead pair are hardly focused on
