I've been noticing that. Especially in Pavitra Rishta, they seem to have atleast one religous event every week. I understand that the show has the whole Ganpati Bappa theme intertwined, but sometimes it seems like puja overload to me. I'm not trying to be rude or anything at all, in fact I have high respect for the Hindu religion and their customs, but I don't think they have to show every single puja. I've also noticed that more and more shows have become very religious, with most shows having atleast one bhagwan as an interwined theme. Pavitra Rishta has Ganpati Bappa, Radhika has Kanha in Choti Bahu, Vidya had Shambhu Nath in Banoo Mein Teri Dulhan, Bani had her Maa Durga phase in Kasamh Se, the list goes on and on.
