First of all I would lyk to say that you are free to agree or disagree with me. This topic is more of a healthy debate and I guess everyone will perceive it differently.

Now, a lot of people think that the storyline is 'terrible', everyone is sad that ArMan are no more together, which means no more scenes, no honeymoon. (I guess everyone was most excited about it.) But if you look at it from another angle, the story has come back to its former theme, and I realised it in the last 10 mins of shouting by Sulochana in todays episode.
It brought to my mind the fact that people assume that if an illiterate, not so rich mechanic with a rowdy family gets to marry a wonderful girl, they always assume that there must be some 'majboori' or 'chaal' or saazish. No one thinks that he may actually be the prince charming one has always dreamt of... even if he is destiny's doormat. Today Archu's family easily agreed that it was manav who had fooled them all, they could not believe that it was fate which led to manav being there for archu at the right time every time and saving her.
This is where the serial had started from, remember??? The search of a mother for a perfect guy for her daughter. He is illiterate, simple, has a humble living and monstrous family members. So what is it that makes him perfect- his character and his selfless love for his wife.
And that is what Manav will prove now, in these days of separation. 'Pavitra Rishta', don't you get it? The title song- Manav being there for Archana in every of her problems even if she may not realise it. It is easy to love a person when you get reciprocated with the same. But it is very difficult to love and be there always for someone who absolutely despises you cos of a broken heart, wanting absolutely nothing in return. I guess when the misunderstanding clears up, that will be the moral in the end. That he is the perfect match for her, for any girl. (Now I really hope and pray that creatives show this track properly and make sulochana admit it in front of Manav, what a scene that would be).
In all this, Archana's chaacter is really facing a lot of hatred. (even I hate her for making manav cry). But considering the turn of events, the events which led to her marrying manav, the proofs, (you have to admit they were pretty good. Ajit DID plan everything well. Plus Manav had lied to her at times.) her own gullible nature, (its just a month into their marriage) her heartache, we might as well side with her. Plus there's a little secret that's not so hidden. She loves manav. Even if there are misunderstandings she cannot start hating him in a moment. She's just disappointed by him. She might be hurt now but she's not a rock which won't melt when she sees manav's selfless love, and he helping her in all aspects of her life. (Allright I hope they don't stretch it to 'life', a couple of weeks is okay)
Aasmaan mein jab tak sitare rahenge
Hum ek doosre ke... sahare rahenge...!
Remember, there was a spoiler earlier that Manav and Archana will be support systems for each other and that will be their pavitra rishta. So we hv a husband who is a knight in shining armour with absolutely no expectations in return and a wife who has been betrayed and hurt by her husband (that's what she thinks) and still be there for each other. Supercool! a story never seen before on Indian TV. (But the creatives really need to take it very carefully from here... I guess Archana will help Manav being in the background and not coming forward) Their undying and unselfish love will be the crux of the show.
Nazdeekiyan ya ho duriyan,
Bas pyaar hi rahega darmiyan...
Sulochana hitting Manav, very sad, but understandable, she's a mother, and she thinks her daughter has been cheaten on more than one occasion by a cheap, characterless illiterate pimp who tried to dishonour her daughter and runied her marriage and future. (I'm surprised she didn't kill him)
Was disappointed by Varsha, she knows half the story, couldnt she have put one and one together? Urgh... where did you leave your brains dear girl...???
About the rest of the family members now... what to say... they all think alike and say alike... and that is...nothing... especially when sulochana does all the talking... and shouting.
About the so called love triangle, not interested at all!! 😡
I guess it all just boils down to 'God helps those who help themselves'. Ganpati Bappa brought them together when neither of them had any hopes of love. Now it is upto them to they keep up the pavitra rishta they are in. Guide them bappa!!
To sum it all up, I hate to see Manav in tears, I hate archana not trusting manav, I hate it that their honeymoon got cancelled, I hate to think of all the sadness to come, and finally, I hope Ajit gets gobbled up by bears!!
But at the same time, I am happy coz the theme of the show is back. I for one, hv always loved the show for the story and not merely for ArMan scenes (Of course that's a huge plus point). When the whole 'gold digger savita' track was one, I was disappointed cos it was turning into a typical kitchen politics saga, but now when I think about the future track and the meaningful story ahead... I"m happy....!!! So much like Amar Prem.... I always thought why such excellent stories weren't made any more... (If u haven't seen it, rush to see this classic film..)
The proof of the pudding is in the eating.... these adverse circumstances will show how strong their bond can get, if it really is a pavitra rishta.
And the misunderstanding will clear up eventually, how long can they stretch it... the guy playing Ajit will get frustrated cos he won't get any footage otherwise.
The optimist in me lives on.... Bas I hope the creatives don't let me down....
Waiting for ur views... I especially want the Tamil version viewers to comment... since they know the track ahead. Its quite plain Ekta is not tampering a lot with the original story except for some minor changes... as i have heard...
PAVITA RISHTA ROCKS!!!

Wonderful review, Niki!👏 This is how the Tamil version goes..

Manav and Archu were pretending to be husband and wife for all the family members, but inside they were strangers. I think this will happen in the Hindi version when she returns to live with Manav.. she'll leave again! Archu never understood/trusted Manav in such early stage, but blamed Manav for lying about being an engineer and ruining her and Sulochana's dream! Savita starts verbal fights with Archu and Archu leaves the house. Manav and his friend find Archu in a brothel and brings her back. Archu starts understanding Manav. Later Savita's decisions forces Sulochana to take her daughter home. How Archu and Manav struggles to get back forms the next part of the storyline! [They do get together and it's all emotional😭]

The brothel scene is used earlier and I doubt they'll use it again. Archana is different ( in some aspects) and her relationship with Manav.

Thanks thamizan, must confess I was looking forward to your reply on this one.
I guess there are very few people who are liking the current track. But for once we need to trust the creatives. The story does have a lot of potential. (In fact, I feel this version of the story is better.. maybe i'll like the tamil version more if i actually see the romantic scenes someday...hehe)
The creatives have been cautious with the show as of now.... we all hated it when Archana''s bidai was called off... but the way the story progressed made so much sense, remember?? Which mother wud want her favourite daughter to go into such a family!!
I hope PR doesnt lose faithful viewership....
P.S. Thamizan... is this ur real name???

Yes, I too feel this version of the story is much better. But I would like them to stick with some of the important scenes in the Tamil version. I'll post one romantic and heart breaking episode with Tamil ArMan (contains spolier) ! Btw, my real name is Sri!

Wonderful. I love your critque. Very thoughful. I must say, I agree with you. The creatives need to pursue this line veryyyy carefully. That same old love triangle crap won't work. They need to avoid that. And by avoid I mean, the most that should happen is that Archu sees Manav and that girl at his work. Just once. Nothing more. None of that divorse, another marriage drama. This story would be ruined otherwise.

But yeah, I agree with you. The scenes where Archu lived at home after marriage, and she and Manav would meet "by chance" at the mandir etc, were soooo beautiful. I want some more of those scenes. The love (that Manav had for Archu) was just so much vivid in those scenes for me. Now, both their love for each other will be shown, as well as anger.
My main concern is that during this seperation, I don't want a third to be brought into the picture. Not another Satish, and not a boss's daughter. This story is about being each other's "sahara". But I just can't watch a show where they are there for each other, but there is a third there also. Its just too much like those oldschool shows. Like Kasamh Se when Bani was there for Mr Walia, after he kicked her to the curb and married another woman, and gave that woman Bani's KIDS!
This show is different. It has to be. Thanks for your post, it really gave me hope. Maybe the creatives won't resort to those cheap tactics used in the past. Hopefully, they won't mess with "Pavitra Rishta".
Lets keep our fingers crossed!! :)

@Charishma: I too dont want the third person, actually no whr is it written that shravani will come in btw them. She has come for Sachin. Archana might misunderstand, but itni misunderstandings mein ek aur sahi.

Just dont spoil the serial.
