Why would it be for the college issue? When they don't have money, what other options does she have? Her only option is to sacrifice. Perhaps, now that Babita has started working, she would have understood the importance of money. So with this she may get admission in college.

Though she is her mother and has all the rights on her, I honestly hate when Babita slaps her. Minnie has been already slapped twice , once by Ashok and once by Babita when she talked about her dadiji. But whatever Minnie said both the times, she was 100% right. These elders easily slap and shut her mouth just coz she's underage. And I hate that.

Don't knows what's the scenario she's slapping now, but still does Minnie deserve slapping all the time, when she already is very affectionate and mature for her age.

Well, humans are not always right. However mature you may be for your age, you may end up acting too much for your age, which causes problems. She may have done something really wrong which made Babita take this step. And she is her mother, she has full rights on her. I believe that, however sweet a mother is towards her daughter she needs to be firm when the matter arises. There are different ways in which a mother can be firm. In this situation, it might have gone beyond her control and she must have taken this step. And there is nothing wrong if mothers slap you, it is just for the good of the daughter she does that. A person who is not bothered, wouldn't stop her from doing wrong right?

I think Babita will slap Mini becoz she found out Mini questioned dadaji about dadaji giving approval to Meeta. We already know Mini is quick to anger and does not think before she speaks when angry. Babita willalso not hear a word against her elders as shown by the Shredhan incident. So when babita finds out Mini misspoke with dadaji she will get angry and slap Mini.
