This show has been so great with their attention to detail compared to most indian soaps but I don't understand why Babita still wears Sindoor 😕

We got a big dramatic scene of her removing her Mangalsutra symbolizing the end of their marriage and her freedom from Ashok but then why is she continuing to wear Sindoor and its been a day or 2 after the divorce has been final? It is a important minor detail that is super contradicting when Babita was yelling at Ashok about them having no relationship since they are divorced but we see the sindoor peaking out from her hair 🤔..I think the CVS dropped the ball on this one!

May be she is wearing out of habit. It is hard to change what she is doing for all these years. And It was huge step from her when she removed the mangalsutra and gave it to Meeta, but it does not mean she would not have been affected. All these years they were adorning her neck and forehead. And now suddenly she become divorcee. Coming from the conservative family and she being a conservative one, it is not easy.

So, she will one day stop adoring her forehead with sindoor too.

Honestly speaking even I found it odd but then I realised, it might be out of practice, not practice just by Babita Khurana but practice of Paridhi Sharma, (lets not forget Paridhi herself is a married woman) so quite possible when she comes to set from home, she comes like that with sindoor and mangalsuthra, though Mangalsuthra is replaced by a gold chain immediately but about sindoor, wiping out it was considered auspicious by actress...

Just my opinion.

Just my opinion.

My be this too could be reason, but for 70 % I hardly saw actress adoring sindoor even when they are off shoot. So this thought did not come to me.

Paridhi doesn't wear sindoor in RL unless specific situations call for it. She wouldn't get much work if she insisted on it (remember she has been married since 2009).
