Yeah the adoption part is interesting. And I actually really like how Dadi differentiates. It makes for an interesting dynamic. But yeah, the friendship is weird. The childishness doesn't annoy me as much (Sweety and Pinky could also be really childish together LOL) but the lack of base does. I just find it unrealistic that they've met after so many yrs and act like BFFs. Like the whole Suri walking into Nikki's house whenever she wants, it's weird. Maybe it's just me LOL. But for sure, the friendship doesn't connect.
Honestly tho, Jassi-Suri are so much superior to Ria-Nikki. The way Suri was encouraging Jassi to sneak out and is so enthusiastic about wanting her to experience life is cute to see LOL.
On that note, I cannot stand the damn camera angles!! So OTT.
Yes...and the fact that Dadi does love Jassi but likes to remind she is not their own. It's an interesting relation. Dadi can be extremely annoying and selfish, but she isn't evil. A little like Bebe from Season 1. Nikki's MIL is also like Bebe of S1.
Again...Sweety-Pinky was so much fun. I loved their phone conversations. Pinky calling to talk about her kids while Sweety talks about her own kids without listening to Pinky...😆
The friendship just doesn't connect. Long lost BFFs don't behave like this. There would be slight reservations for sure. And Suri and Nikki doesn't talk about what happened those 15 years?
Going to each other's house is fine as long as they knock and enter..😆
Yeah...that was fun...Suri wanting Jassi to sneak out while Nikki doesn't want. Though that was good, I feel the writers are trying to hard to show the differentiation between the two mothers. S1 showed the difference casually while S2 is trying hard. Actions spoke in S1. It's all words and no emotions here.
Camera angles, BG music, make up and acting...Everything is OTT.
