30/31st January Written Updates

Shoooo showwy guys; I was really ill for the past two days so wasn't able to put up written updates!😳

Here's both Wednesdays and Thursdays update😃:

Highlights:

Shivaji stops the inspector from taking Radha away

Sonalika is jealous that everyone is favouring Radha

Sonalika taunts Pammi who becomes upset

Radha encourages Sandeep to start painting

Update [30th]

The inspector asks for Radha as he has to take her in to the police station for illegally operating on Sandeep. Shivaji calls from the back that no daughter-in-law of his family will go anywhere near the police station – the inspector recognises him and agrees to drop the case. Sumitra thanks him for accepting Radha but he goes back to his arrogant self and says he was just protecting his guest. Sandeep awakes and the doctor gives him permission to go home.

Later...

Sandeep is welcome home by everyone except for Shivaji and Sonalika. They are all happy to see him and even Sunny and Bobby race towards him. Pammi and Radha tell Sandeep that he needs to rest and take his medicines on time – Dadi is happy to see Radha like this and tells her that she is good luck for the family as after her arrival, some happiness has returned to this house.

Sonalika hears this from the staircase and is livid. The maid joins her and runs it in saying that she has been standing here for ages but no-one has even looked her away; instead it's all Radha, Radha, Radha. She leaves after warning Sonalika that it seems as if Radha is capturing everyone's hearts.

Sumitra tries to talk to Shivaji to get him to see Sandeep at least once. She reminds him of an incident where Sandeep got pneumonia and he [Shivaji] hadn't left his sons bedside for 15 days. Shivaji remembers the past and is worried for Sandeep but keep his indifference act in front of Sumitra.

Kitchen...

Pammi is making soup for Sandeep and is thankful to Radha that she saved Sandeeps life. Sonalika smiles and wickedly taunts Pammi that before she was knows as the wife of a loser - now she will be known as the wife of a coward. These words hurt Pammi and she takes her anger out on Sandeep, telling him there was no need to put on such a huge drama. Sandeep is hurt as she leaves.

Radha sees all this and tries to take his mind of Pammi's words but he dismally asks her why she saved his life – he would have been better of dead. Radha comforts him and listens as he talks about wanting to become a painter; only to leave his dreams to make Shivaji proud. Radha encourages him to try again but this time as a painter and not a lawyer.

But Shivaji only sees this as a strategy to prove Radha wrong

Dadi gives the family heirloom/necklace to Radha

Sonalika is furious and plots with the maid

Update [31st]

Sandeep looks at her hopefully but then refuses saying that this can never be done, besides Shivaji will never agree. Radha however tells him that he can be successful and stand on his own two feet and as it is she knows that Shivaji wants to see his son successful, whether as a painter or a lawyer. She assures him Shivaji will agree – Shivaji overhears this and disagrees. He asks Sandeep why he is being swayed by an outsiders words, especially the women who took away his son.

He adds that it doesn't make any difference to him as it doesn't matter what Sandeep does, he will always be a failure. Radha asks Shivaji to be at least somewhat supportive, he asks her who she is to interfere – Radha replies that she is the daughter-in-law of the family. She tries to persuade Shivaji as the family gather round – Shivaji replies that only a successful mans dreams can be considered, not a losers. He also talks about Swapnil saying that he had also chosen his own path and Sandeep is like Swapnil – a coward and a loser.

Radha takes it one step further saying that is Swapnil is a loser, then it's not only his fault but Shivaji's as well. [Who looks like he is about to explode at this point]

Shivaji glares at her but finally gives in and says that he also wants to see how she'll make his loser of a son successful. [Omg, was that actually a bit of smile?] Radha is stunned, the family overhoyed and well, Sonalika and the maid furious.

Pammi, Sandeep and Dadi thank Radha and are surprised that for once Shivaji did not get angry. Sumitra says that Swapnil's choice wasn't wrong and it was their fault for not accepting Radha as their D-I-L. She prays that no-one should cast their evil eye on Radha and hugs her. The maid thinks to herself that the tables are turning and runs to join the family with Radha. Sonalika is furious but thinks to herself that they can all celebrate as much as they want but she is sure that Shivaji's thought hasn't changed.

Shivaji's room...

Sumitra thanks Shivaji for changing his thoughts and accepting Sandeep's decision. However Shivaji's replies his thought is still the same and that he thinks with his mind and not with his heart which is why he's always right. He adds that whatever he had said outside was a strategy to prove Sandeep and Radha wrong.

...

The family is seated downstairs and talk about Shivaji's changing decision. Radha tells Sandeep that now he has to prove he can also do something, Sandeeo replies that he will try his best and maintain her trust. Sonalika replies that Radha's trust will break. Dadi is unfazed an tells her when you have willpower then nothing is impossible. Sumitra arrives at the staircase and overhears Radha saying that Sandeep will surely be successful. She smiles and wipes her tears thinking to herself that it doesn't matter what Shivaji thinks, but laughter is finally returning in to the family.

Dadi leaves to get something and Radha notices Sumitra and asks her to sit down. Dadi returns with a box and places a red bundle in Radha's hands saying that from now on this is hers. Sonalika watches on with jealousy as Radha opens it to find a necklace – the family heirloom Sonalika was after.

Radha refuses to take it but Dadi insists that she is the only one who can look after it. Radha thinks to herself that how she can keep this necklace as she is not DR. The maid sprinkles salt on Sonalika's wounds – Pammi tells Radha to take it.

Sumitra tells Radha that this their ashirwaad for Princess and Radha should give it to her when Princess is all grown up.

Sonalika's room...

Maid keeps rubbing it in to Sonalika who tells her to shut up and scolds her for saying stupid things. Sonalika thinks of a plan when the maid says that they can change the enemies win in to a defeat as if they can't get the necklace then Radha shouldn't be able to either.

Preview:

Sonalika instigates Pammi who agrees saying that she is the only one who has a right on the necklace and this time she will not stay quiet. Sonalika smiles from the doorway.
