Parivaar's Radha meets with another accident
Deepti Devi aka Radha, Parrivaar met with a car accident while shooting for an action sequence. It was a scene in which a truck had to bash a car from behind, but just before that the car lost its balance and hit a tree. The car got damaged but Deepti had a narrow escape and was badly wounded.
The injured actress explains, "We were shooting at the helipad, Filmcity where I (Dr.Radha) would met with an accident as a truck would come from behind and bang my car. Eventually, due to the force, the car had to go in to the valley. I had to jump from the window as my director had installed the trolley so that I can jump easily, but unfortunately the car lost the balance and turned upside down. Everything got stuck into my body as the door of the car fell on me. It was terrible and due to mental and physical pressure I was not able to shout. But later on the crew members came to know that it's not part of the scene and came running to save me. If they had came one second late my car would have gone into a valley. It was a near brush with death."
On the extent of injury, she reveals, "Each part of my body is damaged as of now. My hands are swollen, knees have been bruised and my back problem has also relapsed. I'm taking physiotherapy treatment for which I had to go to Pune. The doctor has told me to do some exercises but I am continuing with my shoots regularly. After this horrible incident, I have requested my production house to use a dummy for action sequences."
Asked about her family's reaction, she says, "They are very worried. My mother is requesting me to quit such type of roles where my life is in danger. Every day she calls me and asks me how was the shoot? Is everything fine? She is even telling me to apply kajal near my left ear to ward off evil."
This is not first time that Deepti has met with an accident. Recently, a kitchen set fell on her but co-actor Faisal Raza Khan saved her. Then some months back there was a scene in which her hair was damaged and she had to change her hairstyle.
The actress is planning to give her M-COM exams (Pune University) which she had skipped last year due to her hectic shooting schedule.
Well hope life's less adventurous for this accident-prone actress.
