Highlights:

A new character – Dr. Radha is introduced

Update:

A young woman is shown walking towards a mental hospital/clinic for prisoners. At the same time a patient is shown acting hyper and making hell for the nurses as she throws objects around and one of them hits the young woman's forehead as she enters the room [Anyone seen Sindoor? It's Kaajal's sister who was after Rudra and I think she had a cameo in SP as well]. The woman sends all the nurses out and tries to calm the patient down, making her sit as she whispers to the patient that she knows she [the patient] is not mentally unstable but is only putting on an act.

She introduces herself as Dr. Radha saying that nothing is hidden from her whether it's their secret or their illness. The patient still pretends to be mentally unstable and acts as if she has no idea what the Dr. Is talking about but the doctor tells the patient that she can speak comfortably to her as she is a woman as well as a doctor and assures her that she will help her [the patient]. The patient comes out of her act and says that she [Dr. Radha] is right and the patient actually killed Sahani [some random guy] for his money and her lawyer had told her that if she acts to be mentally unstable then her punishment could be decreased.

Dr. Radha smiles before calling the inspector and telling him to arrest the patient who is only pretending to be mentally unstable. The patient is furious at her but says that this is all wrong and she really is mentally ill but Dr. Radha has it all recorded on tape and the woman threatens Radha who replies that she hates lies and knows how to handle such prisoners very well.

The woman is taken away and Dr. Radha also leaves; walking past two women who are also admitted as mentally unstable patients. When Radha is out of earshot they become scared and say that they need to find a way to escape quickly otherwise this doctor will also prove that they are not mad.

Another room...

Radha [our Radha....Going to call the doctor DR from now on] is sitting in a corner; lost in her own thoughts as usual. DR comes in and tries to talk to her but she doesn't reply as usual. DR asks the warden for Radha's case file and after studying it tries to make conversation with Radha, smiling over the fact that they have the same name. She tries to be friendly but fails to get a reply and reads through Radha's case properly. She acts sympathetic towards Radha asking her to speak to her [DR] otherwise she can't help her. DR starts asking about Pune as she is also from there.

Radha gets up and moves to another area quietly looking desolate. DR asks the warden for how long Radha has been like this; the warden replies that Radha has been like this since she has come here. DR gets an urgent phone call and has to leave.

DR's home...

DR rushes home where Sheela, DR's servant is looking after DR's baby who was crying but stops as soon as DR arrives. The phone rings and DR picks it up, talking romantically to her husband saying that she doesn't even get to see him face to face nowadays and will see him tomorrow. Her husband replies that this isn't possible tomorrow as he's travelling and the network will be low there. DR smiles and says it's okay and she'll take the baby with her.

Joshi house...

Aai, Aaje, Meghna and Mandira are assembled and are doing the arthi together. As the arthi finishes, Aaje asks God to protect Radha as it's not her fault and she has never harmed anyone in her life. She becomes teary but before Mandira can comfort her, Meghna asks her not to worry as God will surely set everything right. She goes to prepare breakfast but is stopped by Aai who tells her not to work in this condition. Meghna smirks at Mandira who looks annoyed.

Mental Hospital....

DR comes with her baby being held by a nurse. The warden updates her on a few patients and says that it's time for the regular check-up of all the patients. DR checks on patients one by one as all the others are sitting in a queue. One of the women who had witnessed DR entrapping the patient earlier notices DR's baby left unattended. She thinks to herself that she can use this child to get out of here.

The woman gets up and heads towards the baby; keeping an eye on DR who is busy with the patients. The woman then grabs a policeman's revolver and picks up the child, warning everyone to stay away. DR screams and tells her not to harm her child as Radha notices this and gets up, looking worried as the woman tries to escape with the baby.

Just then Radha tries to take the baby out of the woman's arms and they both get in to a scuffle. Meanwhile at the Joshis everyone notices that the diya is flickering dangerously before it goes out as Radha is shot by the woman. Everyone looks shocked and Radha stunned.
