Hey guys.....
Things have been a mess on my side thanks to my Internet Service Provider cutting of my Telephone AND Internet by accident......I've lived without any sort of Internet at home for the past week and I've had to spend all my evenings taking two busses to the central library so that I can keep up with my work......even so I'm slipping behind....
Thankfully they finally decided to give me my Internet back!😃
I need to spend some time cleaning up both of the forums I handle and wading through my PMs before doing my work......and only then can I update.....
Really sorry guys......And I promise to reply to all the wonderful comments😛....

I know this should have been up a lot earlier but I had a writers block and then the recent storyline of PKKP reall depressed me....Had a few Raddy scenes in my head as well but forced myself to finish this first....
Just finished the last quarter now so it's unedited!....Hope you're all still willing to read!😳
Chapter 2...
Radha flicked through the reports, anxious about the new patient who had been assigned to her care – Shourya Shergill. Everyone had spoken very highly of him, a witty young man who had made his mark in the business world at a very early age, and that his elder sister had insisted that he receive the best care in the hospital that money could buy.
"And you Radha are the best our hospital has to offer." The matron had smiled at her warmly before pressing the reports in to her hands leaving Radha in a fix. She had hoped to take a few extra days of for her brothers wedding but it seemed as if she would have to be content with the four days her boss had granted her. Sighing dismally she turned towards the reception and glanced disapprovingly at Sajni who was grinning inanely over the phone.
"Sajni, can I have Mr. Shergill's room number please."
"Uffo, woh chodho! Your Aai's on the phone. And she sent this over earlier." Sajni gave a wicked smile and pushed the phone in to Radha's hands followed by a small brown envelope that she eyed suspiciously.
"Aai, is everything okay?" Radha asked cautiously, hoping that her Aai had not called to involve her in wedding preparations, which Radha had no time for her.
"Of course nothing is okay. You rushed out this morning Radha, if you had stayed just two minutes longer then you could have met Mrs. Kumar." Sajni, who had been listening to the conversation eagerly, sniggered causing Radha to give her a weary glance. They both knew who Mrs Kumar was; a cheery, boisterous old lady who after having successfully married of her three daughters, saw it has her duty to see every single young women tying the knot and it seemed as if Radha was her next prey.
"Aai, please," Radha tried to argue bit Jaya cut her off hastily and instructed her to open the brown packet. Radha did so and was appalled to see a bunch of photos from potential suitors.
"Photo dekhe shaadi?"
"Why not, that is how me and your father were married." Sajni almost fell of her chair in laughter as Radha struggled to make Jaya understand but her mother, it seemed, was adamant.
"Aai, we will talk about this at home. Bye."
Radha slammed the phone down, barely allowing Jaya to react and turned to face Sajni who was grinning at her.
"I think the one in the black is cute." She giggled as Radha hit her lightly over the head before shoving the photos quickly back in the envelope.
"Never." She muttered before storming off.

Shourya leant back in his wheelchair and smiled appreciatively. The dreary Childrens Ward had been transformed in to an explosion of bright colours with streamers, banners and balloons scattered around the room in an organised fashion. The children themselves had taken the chance to rush out of their systematically lined beds and wish Arun, a sweet little six year old, a happy birthday before gorging on cake, chocolates, sweets and all the other teeth rotting goodies that had been arranged from them. Even some of the nurses had arrived, supporting a small radio that had been tuned to play the latest songs at full volume.
"Shourya uncle!" A group of 6-year-old girls came running towards him, screaming excitedly as they waved their brushes about.
"Hey, what's all this?" He gave a mock stern look as they surrounded him, trying to jab him with their brushes and giggling at the same time.
"It's face paint uncle…you promised." One of them climbed on to his lap and stuck out her bottom lip, sulking until he grinned and took the brush, flicking a splodge of bright green on her nose as the rest laughed adorably and started to work on his face with a rainbow of paints whilst talking nineteen to dozen.
Shourya laughed at their excitement, joining their chatter until a flicker of blue caught the corner of his eyes and he froze in awe. It was her again. The churidaar had been replaced by a simple cotton sari, revealing a glimpse of her creamy waist as she turned to scan the room and her silky tresses had been pulled back in to a no nonsense bun. He watched with open admiration as she pursed her lips and placed her hands on her dainty waist, glaring at the nurses who had stopped dancing and looked liked deers caught in the headlights.
The room seemed to come to a momentary standstill until all the children rushed to her side and pulled her in to the middle of the ward. "Radha didi you came, you came!" Aman inched forward and hugged her legs, smiling adorably until Radha's forbidding expression softened.
"Hapy Birthday Aman. But first tell me, who made all of these arrangements? You know na, the hospital doesn't allow parties." The children looked forlorn and one of the girls tugged Radha's sari gently.
"Didi, please don't tell off Shourya uncle." She looked surprised at the sound of his name as all the children agreed and pleaded to her. Shourya peeked out from the group of girls and gave a helpless grin, rubbing the nape of his neck nervously as her eyes widened in recognition of their earlier encounter. Ignoring his presence for the moment, she turned back to the children who were all looking towards her with hopeful expressions on their faces.
"Okay baba, I won't say anything to your Shourya uncle. But it's time for you all to get back in to bed and have your medicine – you can have all the sweets later."
There was a unanimous moan but they allowed themselves to be ushered under the blankets by the nurses who jumped hastily to Radha's orders. Once she was sure that everything had been take care of, Radha turned towards Shourya and took hold of his wheelchair before bending slightly so that her lips almost grazed his ear.
"Thank-you for the party, it was a sweet thing to do." Her lips curved in to a benevolent smile and a lock of hair escaped from behind her ear, caressing his cheek as he closed his eyes in breathed in the sweet aroma of lavender.
She straightened herself and wheeled a happy Shourya away from the noise of the Childrens Ward.
