The episode begins at the temple. The bells are ringing furiously because of the wind. Radha thinks back to the old times when one day Avi, Ankita, and Yash were playing carroms. RAdha had come home happily from school and told them that she got the highest marks. When she told the same to Aai, she did not get a happy response. Aai was indifferent, and in fact scolded her saying there was no need to get extra happy. There is a lot of work at home and there is also a pooja.(Radha looked so cute in the flashbackš) Next, Radha is shown going to Aai and telling her she did really well on her exam. Instead of being elated, Aai asks her if Radha has recieved the tuition money. Radha gives her the money and Aai leaves.
Next, they show a scene with Dadi and Radha. Since Radha has gotten the highest grades, Dadi has made kheer for her. Just as Radha is happily about to eat it, Aai screams where did the milk go? Dadi says she's made kheer for Radha. Aai says there's not enough milk for the kids to drink and Dadi's made kheer. First the household necesities should be taken care of, and then all this. (meaning Radha isn't part of the household)
Back at the temple, all those words are running through Radha's head...Aai saying she didn't give birth to Radha...that RAdha isn't her daughter. Just then, the dia goes out. Radha, with a determined look, lights the dia. She says to herself she has to show the right path to her decisions. With great determination, she says today she'll do exactly what needs to be done. Saying that, she walks out of the temple.
Everyone at home is restless. They're waiting for Radha. Avi and Yash are out frantically searching for her. They come home and Megs gives him angry looks. She says now there's no other way but to report to the police. Just then Radha comes in with the determined look on her face still. Everyone runs to her and asks her where she'd gone to. She walks away from them, without glancing or replying. She goes straight to Aai's room. Aai is shocked to see her. Radha tells Aai that for a second she had felt that all the ties broke, that she was all alone in this world. But that's not true. Whatever she is today, her values, everything is because of Aai. She says so how can their relationship break? She will always be her Aai. She says just giving birth doesn't make a woman a mother. RAdha says if Aai also leaves her, what will happen to her. She says "aap meri aai thi, meri aai hai, aur meri aai rahenge." She comes and sits in front of Aai and says Aai is her identity. Aai is the reason she lives. She says Aai is the happiness of her life. She says she's not selfish that she would forget all these years of love and happiness (what love and what happiness?) Radha says she always needs Aai's blessings. Radha is sitting near the bed crying but Aai's expressions don't change. Radha slowly gets up and walks away.
Radha is in her room standing sadly. Dadi comes in and tells Radha she can't be this way. She's giving this woman who never cared for her the right to be her mother still? Radha doesn't want to hear any of this. But Dadi says she won't be quiet today and she won't let Radha be quiet either. She says Aai has crossed all limits. How can anyone hate an innocent so much? Because she didn't give birth to her? Or is it because Radha's father loved Radha the most? Dadi says all these years, she's been quiet. Hatred destroys homes. And in Aai's hatred, Dadi's son's life was destroyed. But no more. Dadi won't let Aai destroy Radha's life too. She tells RAdha that there is still time. She tells RAdha to wake up and face reality. Radha says as long as she can remember, she'd loved Aai. She says love wins over all hatred. Radha says why shouldn't she love Aai so much that one day she forgets everything and will love RAdha back? She says she can't forget the fact that Aai has raised her. If she hadn't done all this, what would have happened to Radha. She says one day, everything will be fine. Dadi says that day will never come. Radha doesn't understand Aai still. She will never love Radha. The episode ends on Radha's face.
The episode started out really well. I was so happy to see that determined look on Radha's face. But now, she's back to waiting for Aai to change - which will never happen.
Oh, Radha, why couldn't you have just kicked Aai out of the house?šš
