Update:
Uma goes to Radha's house and comes face to face with her Aai. She demands to see Radha and when Aai retorts that Radha does not want to see Uma or Mohit, she is furious and says that she wants to hear the same thing from Radha's mouth just once. If Radha says the same thing then she (Uma) will never come to this house again. Aai is stunned to hear this but stands her ground as Uma says she will not leave until she gets her answer from Radha.
Megs and Avi also arrive.
She calls out for Radha and drags her away from the house outside where people have gathered around and Mohit has also come. Uma says that today, in front of everyone; she is asking Radha if she will agree to marry Mohit?
Radha's Aai speaks out from behind and says that she can not trouble Radha like this, but Uma continues and assures Radha that today she does not need to worry about anyone – today it will only be about her decision. Uma asks her again.
Radha is silent as everyone looks on stunned. Uma rpods for an answer and begs her to speak out for her love and the happiness that she deserves in life.
Megs is furious and joins Radha's Aai and tells Uma that she can't force Radha like this. But Uma is adamant as she says that she wants to hear only Radha's decision. Radha asks Uma not to force her like this because one decision can hurt a lot of people's feelings. Uma becomes emotional as she says she just wants to see Radha and Mohits happiness.
At the end of it all, Radha refuses to marry Mohit as she can't go against Aai. Uma and Mohit are left stunned as both Megs and Aai smirk. If her Aai says that she can not marry Mohit, then she won't. She asks for both of their forgiveness.
Uma says that she is not at all happy with Radha's decision, and from today onwards, she breaks all relations with Radha. From now on she will not meet Mohit. Uma then drags Mohit away who is totally numb as Radha watches them leave with tears in their eyes.
Aai and Megs also leave dragging Avi with them, leaving Radha outside going over her memories of Mohit as she lays huddled on the floor crying.
Scenes of Mohit and Radha are shown, both looking distraught as past memories flash in front of their eyes whilst 'zindagi meh koi aye na rabba' from Musafir plays in the background.
Next morning…
Megs is reading the paper and drinking tea as Aai grumbles that she doesn't even have enough time to take a deep breath and here she (Megs) is sipping tea. Nobody is bothered about the amount of work in the house. She's been up since 6 working, and no-one has bothered to offer help. Megs looks unconcerned at Aai's rant.
Aai then asks about Radha and wonders why she hasn't got ready for work yet. Megs says she is probably crying as her wedding broke, and though she doesn't have the day of from the hospital, she might have taken it of for this reason.
Aai asks Megs to tell the 'maharani' to forget about the past as there is no time to cry in life. If she sits at home, where will the money come from? And besides, Avi ahs lost his job so Radha should concentrate on working hard as opposed to remembering past memories. And anyways, there is no-one else in this house capable enough to earn money.
She says this with a meaningful glance towards Megs who looks annoyed. Finally Radha comes out and takes leave from Aai who doesn't even bother to say bye as Megs smirks in the background.
Radha is outside when a group of ladies spot her and start gossiping amongst themselves. They say that everything had been prepared for the wedding, but at the last minute destiny did not support them and the wedding broke, it looks as if Radha will stay un wed all her life. They also comment on how Radha has ruined Mohit's life. Radha overhears this and is upset.
She then spots Uma who turns her face away from Radha and leaves from there as Dadi looks on in the background. As Uma unlocks her front door, Dadi follows her and tries to talk to her but Uma shuts the door on her face. Dadi still comes in and tries to explain the situation to Uma who cuts her of and says that she knows what is going on in that house – there's a girl who does everything for the happiness of her family. But her family are only worried about themselves and stifle that girls happiness as their main worry is that once she leaves, who will look after the hosue and earn for them?
Uma says that Radha has forgotten her happiness for her family who do not care for her. And despite being the oldest, Dadi does not say a word. Uma says that she knows she has no right to talk about what goes on in the family, but she is worried about Radha, and so is Dadi, yet still she remains silent.
She accuses of Dadi and the family ruining Radha's life, but if she fears God then she must sort out the situation before Radha's life turns to hell.
Dadi is left looking stunned and ashamed.
