The show starts with Mohit's gift breaking at the sound of the doorbell. Radha looks worried as she follows Mohit to the door and both are stunned to see a weeping Tripti at the door. Mohit immediately calls for his Aai who is also surprised to her and they both ask Tripti if everything is fine – what is she doing here?
She replies that she has come back to her house; left the place where the greed of dowry has made them forget everything. She continues that they kicked her out of the house for a larger dowry at a sum of 25, 000, but she will not let them succeed and neither will she let her family bow down to their wishes (At this point I'm pretty sure that Tripti is Mohit's sister)
Aai comes forwards and embraces her before taking her inside the house. Mohit is left troubled at how to arrange for the money.
Next morning at Radha's breakfast table…
Avinash gets up to work and Radha explains to him that he should get their on time and that he should work. It's a new beginning to his life and he should work hard. She tells him to take their Dadi's blessings which he does before their Aai does his Arti whilst the rest of the family looks on smiling. Meghna also gives him a spoonful of yoghurt (is that what they give?)
Everyone waves as Avinash leaves.
Mohit's house…
Uma is sitting with Tripti, explaining to her that life can be started anew, if only she tries though Tripti does not react to any of it. Radha walks in and Uma asks her to talk to Tripti whilst she leaves.
Radha sits down besides her and tells her that she has always considered Tripti as a younger sister and asks her what her in-laws said, if she shares then the burden on her heart will lessen.
Tripti recalls how at first they were nice to her, loved her dearly. But once they realised that the dowry was less than they had hoped for, it changed. She had hoped that her love and devotion to the family would overcome the issue of money, but it was no use. Love can not fill the want for money and finally the day came when they threw her out of the house.
Radha is surprised to hear this and says despite Uma getting Tripti married above her standards, they still did this. Tripti tearfully says that she had also said the same thing, but they did not budge and pushd her out of the house. But she has decided that neither will she bow down, nor will she allow her family to.
Radha asks about what her husband said. Tripti becomes even more upset as she tells Radha how her husband stood dumbly to one side; despite her pleadings he did nothing, but in fact was more helpless than her as he never did anything against his parents' wishes. She does not want to spend her life with a man who can't even protect his wife's 'swabhimaan'.
Suddenly two women appear at the door and ask what Tripti is doing back, is everything fine? Radha tries to assure them that everything is ok and Uma asks why they are saying this when Radha has come to the house for the first time.
One of the ladies retorts that she has come for the first time, which is fine. But the way she has come is not; no-one to came to drop her of, or pick her up.
Tripti loses her temper and storms towards them. She tells them clearly that she has been kicked out of the house, but that has nothing to do with them and requests them to leave. The ladies leave moddily.
Avinash is shown entering his office. The watchman, the receptionist greets him and he seems happy with his surroundings, acting like he is the boss. Just then the peon arrives and drops some files onto his table whilst Avinash looks stunned at the amount of work that he has to do. He throws them under his table after making sure no-one is looking.
Mohit's garage…
Mohit is working but his mind is on Tripti. He has to arrange money for his in-laws, but doing that he can't fulfill Radha's Aai's wishes. Suddenly he hurts his hand and Radha comes running, nursing his hand whilst he looks on. She tries to assure him that everything will be fine but he is still troubled.
Radha reasons with him that giving them the money would not return Triptis happiness, and besides, what if they demand more next time. The garage is his dream…
Mohit cuts her off and says that he can't put his dream above his sisters happiness. Radha tells him that it's about Tripti's respect which will be hurt if he gives the money. He needs to keep courage and everything will be fine. She will support him in every decision of his. She smiles whilst Mohit nods.
At the office…
Avinash is playing solitaire on his computer!! His boss taps his shoulder and scolds him for playing. Avinahs tries to get out of it by saying that he was just refreshing his mind, and he just needs to discuss some important stuff from the files with him. The boss nods and asks him to talk about it in his cabin. After he leaves Avinash is left troubled as he has not done any work so far.
He picks up a completely empty file and bumps into a peon carrying tea by purpose. The tea spills over the file and Avinash scolds the peon, saying how he had worked so hard in it and now it's ruined. The boss comes out once again and tells Avinash that it's okay, he can give the file tomorrow. However Avinash says that he will do it again and give it now. The boss is very pleased.
Avinash congratulates himself on his quick thinking.
Garage…
Mohit is working till late in the garage, and despite his friend asking him to go home, Mohit says another 10 minutes – he just has some work to do, but forces the friend to leave. A few scenes showing Mohit working hard.
Radha's home…
Radha walks in and is surprised to see Avinash at home earlier than herself. He is upto his usual nautanki self, acting very tired as Meghna massages his head and I think Aai brings him tea.
Radha asks how his first day at work was, did he have fun? Avinash looks annoyed and Meghna snaps at Radha saying that he has just arrived tired from work, let him rest before starting your barrage of questions.
Uma comes knocking at the door and Radha, noticing she's worried asks her if everything is fine. Uma tells her that Mohit has still not arrived home, and neither can she get through to his phone.
Radha assures her that he is probably at the garage and his mobiles battery may be low. They should wait for sometime, and if he's still no back, she'll go to the garage herself and bring him. Uma leaves though Radha herself is very troubled.
Scenes showing Radha pacing her house worried, Uma waiting at the entrance, and Mohit strolling along the road, deep in thought as Radha's Aai's words run through his mind along with Tripti's problem.
Suddenly a car comes from the front and hits him.

How long until Avinash is kicked out of his job?😕
Most of us have already said how Mohit and Radha may not come together - will the reason be Mohit workign to arrange money for Tripti's dowry, or his accident which may lead to his death?
