In yesterday's episode was chinky trying to copy that actress who came in old films, the classic one being 'seeta aur geeta'. Considering my age, perhaps this film was way before your timešŸ˜•. Was that actresses name manorama? Very chubby actress who was great with her facial expressions? Chinky looked and acted so much like her. Perhaps this chinky character may have a role in future hindi films as the next manoramašŸ˜†

Not sure, I totally ignored Chinky and Pinky incident in yesterday's show. I so dislike the 2 of them. Like you as long as I get a good dose of Shloka I am happy for now I guess.šŸ˜‰

If you want to see her Diya, you have to watch 'seeta aur geeta'. Hema malini in a double role. It was a great film. I loved that manorama character' s acting in it. Val I didn't realise she was still around and in serials!!!!

Simran,
I think I found an article with a picture of Manorama on the web. Here it is:
I believe you are right Chinky does try to immitate her.
WIll try to get a copy of Seeta aur Geeta and watch it sometime. I am not sure if it is Manorama in Kkutumb, I watched an episode or two about 6 months back. Moreover the above article says she passed away in Feb 2008.

Oh, Oh - I know who you are talking about!

[Seeing as I love old films, I've seen SaT many times😳]

The actress in question - Manorama - is fabulous artist and has come in a number of movies....Chinky's constant 'sniffing' expressions seemed familiar but I couldn't place them....Now that I know where they come from; I'm even more annoyed.😳

Chinky's expressions are downright annoying and though I can't believe I'm saying this; Miditech has found a baaaaad actress.

If she is indeed trying to copy Manorama then I have to say, Chinky isn't even a quarter of the way there and really should stop the sniffing antics.

Thanks for that Diya. I asked my dad if she was still around and he said that he thought she'd passed away. So I'll just let him know that he was actually correct.
Nibbles, glad someone has watched Seeta aur geeta. I thought as I'm probably one of the oldies on here with you youngsters, you wouldn't have a clue who I was talking about. Yes, you are right, Manorama was a fabulous artist. Chinky reminded me of her on that one day. She needs to work harder to become another manorama.

Its Chinky's facial expressions, actually the faces she make while talking certainly remind us of Manorama. Nice observation Simran.
