It is no longer straight forward like it used to beGood PhD program acceptance rate has gone to 1% at best and average yrs to graduate such programs is 6 years. While doing that which in no way is easy going, only certain programs offer stipend which can help one survive.PsyD programs are relatively easier to get into with 5-20 % acceptance rate depending on program, but they might be expensive.Not to mention once have doctorate; licencing, this specialization, this association, etc will knock right away, which are increasing with each passing day in US 😕not saying it's not worth it, but must be 100 % sure of it
Have heard about it..
Even my cousin is going without a scholarship... In my days, nobody would venture unless they had a scholarship or RAship
