yep broke my own rule.. all because i had to rebook my return flight.

40 hours: for siht seeing there was only Snow, we were stranded at the airport like Laawaris. at that time i was thinking even with Money you cannot buy comfort. hotels closed to airports were full, major highways closed, no electricity in 80% frankfurt. Airport staff advised us to stay inside. But I stepped out at the airport and returned after talking to a desi cab driver.

Sorry to hear your story. Did it happen while going or coming back 😕 In any case not a good memory except you learnt that money can not buy everything. It was good that you all are safe and sound and back to your base.

Going to India, it was a horrible journey, FIL, MIL came same day from South Africa and we had plan to travel together, I reached 2 days late and baggage went missing, arrived after 2 more days so we were stuck in Mumbai for a week. I was going nuts, then my wife suggested I Should ask for more time off... luckily I got 2 more weeks extra.

Glad to know that you had an extra two weeks in India to pig out on food. It was in news that shortage of food was found in Mumbai for unknown reason😛 😆 😆 😆😆
