Yes, KC is shown as taking things lightly.. There could be a few reasons for that..

1) may be because he is not aware of the seriousness of her facial injuries and even the thought thtat Sid would be insecure may not have crossed his mind

2) may be he knows that Sid would be having serious injuries on the face as he was asking her if she took doc's permission to wash her face.. so, to him it is a given that she would have deep wounds on her face.. again he is oblivious to sid's insecurities.

3) Doc may not have sat him down and explained as he was busy arranging 8lkhs for Sid's discharge.

I am sure Kunal's tube will soon light up and he will understand that something is wrong here.. that is why they are building up to the situation, may be. And he hasn't heard anything about the seriousness of her injuries after the bandages are removed. So, he is happily concentrating on his new 'permanent' job.

i think they are making it layer by layer i mean a series of doubts for kunal so that later on when somehow he faces the reality then he can go down the memry lane with these doubts n link the dots well,as it happened some days back when he came to know about abhey at the same moment he got fb's of wht sid told him about abhey n linked it well smthing similar will happen surely,n yes promo too giving hint of this

i believe he was too excited and happy to have siddhi back in his life, which is understandable hence as of now taking things slowly.

but from the promo we know he has managed to know truth and its possible he either found out from doc, nurse or veena, or best would be he worked things out himself, bec he does have 2 hints

hopefully cvs will handle this track well
