She is a pimp if you ask me... Blackmailing a vulnerable woman to get married to her son(a marriage that is null and void since she is married already) and sleep with him

i am shocked Aruna Irani is continuing to play the role of Surekha Diwan. the character is a disgrace in every aspect.

in the past whenever aruna iran i was unhappy about any of her rles in her previous shows, she used to voice her opinion in articles /intvs, however i am surprised she is continuing to play surekha diwan,, nor she is giving her best as an actress ( i believe she is a good actress, however her performance as surekha dropped down big time post leap), she hasnt had much screen space either, alotof her scenes are with cheat shots i think

They could have casted any actress who plays negative roles but isnt popualr as aruna irani for the role. She was even promoted so much in the parichay post leap press conference

we were fooled pre leap by articles of surekha being siddhi's God mother

and now same is happening with abhay's role. mahesh says role isnt neg, but what we are seeing is all negative,

It's pathetic to see a supposed 'God Mother' cheat and manipulate someone she took under her wings to nuture.If I were to apply extremities I can say she is no different than orphanage patrons who force their wards into human trafficking.🤢😡

Drama is good but what makes them think that it means negativity? 😡

I never had any expectations with Sulekha character.. Given the actors who were going to play Sulekha and Abhay, I would have been surprised if they turned out to be positive characters..

There was always a mystery element to her character from the beginning. She was in jail to begin with and the reason for her to be jailed hasn't been revealed till date. She threatened the nurse in the jail to find out what happened to the first child and also to keep away from Richa. Then she did not tell Sid about Richa stealing her baby and instead said that the baby was a still born. Though sometimes it felt like she did not want to hurt Sid more by telling her the truth, I felt she was hiding the truth from her unnecessarily.

And yes all the points you mentioned too.. she has been a grey character from the start and except during Sid's last days of pregnancy in jail, we have not seen her actually feeling for Sid's state. She met Sid again after 9yrs when Sid was released from jail.. ever since then, we have seen that Sulekha for some reason does not like Sid's husband Kunal. The reason for her dislike for Kunal has not been shown. I feel she cares only about Abhay and not AC2. She is nice to AC2 because it makes Abhay happy. My MIL was watching Parichay one day before the B'lore trip.. and after one of the self-talks of Sulekha to get Sid and Abhay married, she said how can a mother want her son to marry a woman who has a 9yr old son and is still in love with her husband! How can her son be happy marrying such a woman!😕

So yes, she has been a negative character from the start and I wouldn;t be surprised if she turns even more nagative in future.🤢

Actually Hima, its was my mummy who asked me to write this as she was very upset about what this Sulekah did.

She asked me what kind of woman is she asking Siddhi to do all this for her son, knowing she is the wife and mother to someone else. Only a sick person can do this. She spat on Sulekha but unfortuntely it landed on my TV screen. My mum has been unstoppable since then, calling all her buddies and telling about Sulekah and must get rid of this one fast. She feels that this lady has brought bad name to all senior citizens.

She was very upset about the whole thing as she feel very embarassed and old woman , a mother , a woman can do this to another woman by force. She keeps asking me what actions, taken against Suleka...for what she did is totally unacceptable !

probably BT people have got a different meaning in their dictionary of the word being "GODMOTHER"

fine she commited hell out of sins as said by silambu.( keeping in mind as the tag line being as GODMOTHER)

She is old , knows sid's feelings , she knows sid loves Only KC , she did all this 😡 Forget about being a god mother ,, she can't even be a mother !

Good post silambu. Yes she is neither a woman nor a mother. The moment they announced aroona irani's name as godmother I was shocked as she is known for the vamp roles, for a while I thought ok she opted to do different frm the roles she actually does, but no she is known for doing the roles and continues to do those roles only. So what else can be expected frm the vamps. She is neither woman nor mother.
