Since my week-end was ruined by the CVs, Ekta, articles about Parichay new turn of events, I thoought it would a kind of nice if I can bake a cake and make booze for them for their precious unexpected surprise and gift.
Receipe of Salted cake - serve 6 ( Ekta and her CVs need to make at least 3 of it to pass around)
- 200 grams of flour
-150 grams melted president salted butter ( receipe does not require salt but I think they need it)
-100g grated gruyere cheese
- 4 salted eggs ( receipe call for only normal eggs but I think they need it )
-100g salted nuts - hazel nuts( receip does not call for any salt , but I think they need it0
-1 tbs yeast
- 20 TS salt ( receipe only call for 1, but I think, they need to add as much as possible)
-15 seeded olives
-200g chicken ham ( salted - receipe did not specify but I think they need it)
How to Proceed
1) melt the butter
2) Dice Ham and olives in small pieces
3) Mix together flour, yeast, whisked eggs, melted butter, greated cheese, ham olives , nuts and salt.
4) Pour the mixture into a cake tin an bake for 40 mins on medium heat. ( they can do it for high heat if they want - will be crispier and burnt but I am sure they will love it)
My comment: Very easy to prepare and convenient to take out for a lunch on the sets of Parichay or in mental asylum. Could be frozen as well
Booze to go with:
Silambu's Cocktail - Serves only one ( you know who this is for)
- 1 dose of chlorox
- 1 jet of Dettol multi purporse floor cleaner liquid
- 1 dose of KIWI lavender fragrant glass cleaner liquid
- Ice cubes
- a hint of ground sea salt
Pour the three liquids into a cocktail shakeer ... and shake well. ( they can jump up and down to ensure that the mixture is shaken well )
My comments : Serve on the rocks and sprinkle with ground sea salt.
A perfect compliment for the salt cake ...
Bon appetit! Have a great salted detergent evening.
