Siddhi: Kunal vs the baby

So today siddhi said in her own words that she values Kunal more than the baby... Initially i didnt like hearing the dialogue... But then I thought about it more... Like Siddhi said... the baby is there becaus eof Kunal... she wont try and jeopardize her baby... but she neeeds to fight for her husband...

Think of a somewhat parallel situation

Suppose the doctor was to tell SINAL that carrying the baby is a threat to siddhis life... and abortion is the way to go to avoid a tremendous risk to siddhi's life... wouldnt he choose siddhis life above the baby's??

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the issue... It is no doubt acomplex situation...

saving the man you love vd putting yourself and his baby at risk

Personally I lives that part the most. To me that was the best way Siddhi showed her love.
I personally think that is how it is supposed to be. Not saying don't care about baby at all, bit without each other they wouldn't have baby.

The scenario you described is right on what would Kunaldo but even when things are not as drastic they should do same. My personal belief is that husband wife is the strongest relationship, even stronger than parent to child. Spouse will always be there with you. So hope even in future they continue this path. Again not saying hell with baby but yes their priority should be each other, then baby.

obviously kunal will choose Sidhi over the baby, no doubt..
in fact I believe any husband would do that , for a husband his wife will be and should be more important than their unborn child...
And as far as Kunal is concerned, he loves sidh way too much , not saying he doesn't love his unborn child , and I agree he is more emotionally attached to the child than sidhi but for him the child is his happiness and Sidhi is his life...

My thoughts on this...

Siddhi is not saying she doesn't care any less about the baby because she said Kunal is more important to her than the baby.

She just wants to let Kunal know how important he is to her. He is her first priority and eveything else is secondary...

If there's comes a point where Kunal has to choose between Siddhi and baby, obviously the choice would be Siddhi but then with Modern medicine and technolgoy in place, any parent would ask if there is way where both can be saved first .

I dont think such a situation will arise for this to happen

hi , loved dat dialouge yesterday ..and siddhi odcourse dint mean dat she doesnt love the baby ..but yes her love for kunal is more dan anything else ...nd anywife would have said da same in her place ..atleast i feel so..

I liked the fact that Siddhi put Kunal before everyone else including the baby. She is desperate to get him out and cannot stop or slow down because of pregnancy. She needs to do whatever she can before the next hearing. Like Veena said, she cannot take her majboori to be her kamzori.. she doesn't have that option or luxury to worry about herself now. I liked how Kunal warned her and the way siddhi assured him.
