Ramya, most offices in NA are either business casual or no dress code.. As long u wear something decent is good enough. in Summer, especially like days today [ 44C] , most of us are in T/shorts and sandals

Badiya hai...maine suna hai US of the A main google campus bahut accha hai karke...tum bhi office shorts main jati ho kya?😉..

Well I used to work for Motorola until Google bought Motorola recently so I don't really work in Google's building yet as we are staying in the Motorola building for the time being. However, I hear the rumors that soon we will be moving to Google building in Chicago Downtown which will be nice because they occupy the nicest building in the downtown. Once that happens, I might be able to wear short to work. Waise I have seen Google CEO many times and he also wears very casual cloths as appose to Motorola CEO, Sanjay Jha he always wore suite and tie😊

At Motorola, we weren't allowed to wear shorts Amrishmat be khakis but no shorts😊

I agree bhavi...she has the flair & the talent...we all are just humble aspirants 😉

Today is world music day...its over here though ...listening to music all day elevated my mood ...& i was thinking abt y'all on the way to office today & felt happy that i know you guys...even though i don't knw your faces...you have become a part of my life now 🤗

Sorry not in consulting world. Even if it is +40 or -40 we still have to be in proper attire. No flipflops allowed. And if you have meeting with clients then you better be well dressed. There is a vast difference between computer world and rest of the world

Well said Ramya. It is true even though we are faceless friends we have become a part of eachother's lives.

Agree, even in finance field, we have to wear dress pants and shoes

Good to know...my 1st job was in Reuters & there wasn't any dress code as such...initially though...later the dress code became too strict 😡but fridays were fun days though...all colorfull & beach wear type...i miss those days
