in defence of parichay

i have always liked the fact that this forum has intelligent fans.. fans who are willing to see mistakes.. and point them out.. but for the past few weeks it appears that people are devoting more attention to critiquong than appreciating.. guys parichay may not be a perfect show.. but its awesome compared to the stuff one gets to see otherwise.. terrific acting.. special mention for sameer soni and aarti singh.. a genuinely decent family.. and a love story that touches the heart without being over the top.. whose simplicity is its greatest strength..

As fans we should critique... but not come down to the verge of bashing it..

Sorry if i hurt anyone.. but i genuinely believe that parichay is, in comparison, among the best shows on air and i hate to see so much criticism against it.

A character like Kunal chopra; a couple like SINAL.. a show like parichay is a rare thing on indian television.. lets not bash its flaws so much rather appreciate the good parts too

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Well Said. Absolutely in each and every way am sure that Parichay is so different among other shows. Bloopers is common in each and every show. And no show promises us 100% satisfaction to all the viewers. Because the perception varies from one to another. Still, Parichay is able to maintain the potential and maintaining the show far from fairy tales. Special thanks to Sameer sir and Aarthi sing for being part of show. I just love these two characters from the show. Specially thanks to seema's role play, Starting to ending maintaining the same attitude and no fluctuations, The way she handles things... No one else could do it.

I agree..Parichay is better from other serials in terms of performances, script, dialogues etc..and I think we need to give Cvs some credit for giving such awesome charcter like Kunal chopra, showing us beautiful relations , and best part is there is no kitchen politics , no upper 0middle class drama etc

@d.padmini, every word you said are pure truth as well.
I love the show and no longer interested in debating. i'll always support any positive changes for the show but without getting into severe criticism that does no help.

I do agree, the show does have its fair share of good points. Appreciation and criticism, either way, I think as a viewer we have the right to express both. But overall, the show is definitely better than a lot of crap we see on tv. They've etched out the love story between Kunal-Siddhi almost perfectly and they've got a great supporting cast too. It has had its ups and downs but all in all I'm still very motivated to keep track of the show. They definitely have done a good job of avoiding a whole lot of cliches like the leads falling over each other and staring endlessly, getting separated for ridiculous reasons, family members manipulating each other...its a good change to not see saas-bahu politics. The characters are real and relate-able to a certain extent too. Don't know what the future holds for the show but hopefully they will pick up the pace and give Kunal's character more prominence along with all the other characters and tracks.

I wont compare Parichay to any other show coz i dont watch any other show now except 'Roadies'😆 so I always compare Parichay to Parichay and then i feel it is lacking. I wish to see this show doing well and it has the cast, most of the actors are superb so if they just get it right it will be the No 1 show. fingers crossed.😃
