Well today I dont know if i can criticise and comment like a normal viewer.I thought I was prepared for this ,I thought I knew what to expect but still when I actually sat down and watched , it caught me unawares not because anything we didn't expect happened ,but because the pain transcended the vitual world and I wasn't prepared for this.
The court scene:
The most tragically beautiful scene.It was perfect in all respects, had every ingredient,the hero the heroine,the villian and alas the unspoken love that howled ,cried and screamt to be known.
Thakral your 40 years showed through, you left no stone unturned.Bruteless cross examination of your witness ,unabashedly shameful.Today you showed us where Ritcha learnt her scheming from.You didn't spare the wife nor the husband, and brilliant was your assumption on what could have lead to the Sinal divorce, you drove the nail right in and too deep.
When Siddhi says that she did go to the hotel and Thakral grills her further on what she saw and why she ran away , the look Sinal exchanged broke my heart ,Siddhi's inconsolable tears and Kunal's bowed head spoke a lot more than words could ever say.
Then came Thakrals assault on the one night of physical intimacy they had,the one night where even though silent their love for each other broke the shackles of compromise,of denial,of rights and wrongs and just expressed itself.Thakral did not spare them even that.How can she not cry and how can he not get angry? Like Seema once said 'Females cry a lot and men get angry often' , this scene captured that and showed it as it is.When pain gets unbearable how each of the genders react!!!!.
Loved each 'Meri patni' of Kunal's and each 'Mera pati' of Siddhi's .Sinal even if you divorce you will always remain wedded to each other in your hearts!!!
If all this wasn't enough 'Anand' as if we haven't had enough of that already!!!! You couldn't have handicapped Kunal anymore or broken Siddhi any further.I am glad Kunal beat you up.I loved the way Siddhi kept saying 'he is trying to instigate my husband' and Kunal saying 'mere biwi se door raho' He said mere biwi even before his family!!!!!
Thakral does his homework well and hats off to him for that!!!!
Scene outside the court:
Kunals dejected walk , when he got into the auto I really wished Siddhis would run in too, but that was not to be.Oh god Ritcha whats your problem ,same old dialogues... Dialogues writers give her something new to say, she is like a tape reocrder that has a tape stuck in it and keeps playing the same song over and over again.And Siddhi why do you always feel Kunal's anger is directed at you?Seema Siddhi is really lucky to have a bhabi like you!!!!
Scene at home:
Kunal Kunal how are you going to live without your wife?It was disheartening to see him feel remorse at having put Siddhi through witnessing what she must have seen at the hotel that night.Or remembering Thakral's words about raping your wife.Everywhere Siddhi (though I really dont remember taht photo of hers being there before but then Kunal seems to find photos in the room as per his convenience).
The flashbacks on Siddhi was really touching ,take back the divorce case Kunal otherwise this is pretty much going to be life everyday.Today even the tea cup reminded you of Siddhi.
Scene at home with Chopras:
Gaurav you seriously expect Kunal to answer anyone's questions? Well good escape from papa Kunal.Did we see a hint of Veena's recovery there I hope so,please Veena dont wait for Siddhi to get pregnant ,your son is hurting terribly only a mom can understand that and console him.Only on your lap can he cry out his grief afteral he learnt his first lessons on right and wrong from you ,only you can help him ease out his guilt.
Raj is shaking with fury and rightly so,what do these young people think of themselves ? Things go slightly wrong then divorce.If you married for your family dont they deserve to know when you want to seperate?
Raj i dont think your bahu is going to give you an answer ,she will just cry.Be patient like all of us give her time she will speak !!!.
Precap:
Drunk Kunal,it broke my heart to hear Kunal say 'Papa your son is a rapist'.Him of the people,please this guy feels guilty for sleeping with his wife just because she happened to be his brothers girlfriend , how will he rape anyone?
His pain at not keeping Siddhi happy,but I am sure Siddhi wont say she loves him tomorrow,because of what he said next 'I am not happy', Siddhi read the fine print,he is unhappy because he thinks he makes you unhappy.Seema step in please show the way.
